Both Beer Goggles and Jenny's Melody are coming off spectacular wins of late. They head the weights and have to be feared despite being hit by the handicapper.
Other horses coming back off wins include Iora Glas, who won comfortably at Cheltenham and may still have more to give, and Peter Bowen's The Road Ahead who showed real guts last time out, but this is much tougher.
Cooking Fat is on the improve and though he needs to step up again to figure, with him being only six years of age he could do so.
A horse who had a blossoming career as a hurdler before switching to chasing is MONBEG GOLD. He a had a couple of impressive victories at Exeter in late 2015 and looked a horse with a real bright future.
In November he made his chase debut and ran a real solid race behind More Buck's and it looked just a matter of time before he notched up a victory over the bigger obstacles. However he has been a bit hit and miss since although he has run a couple of decent races without looking threatening.
I think it's an interesting move to bring the horse back hurdling today, he has slowly dropped down to a very competitive mark of 126.
The yard have been banging in the winners recently and Monbeg Gold is only seven years of age and, for me, still retains a lot of ability. There's every chance he could thrive being back over the smaller obstacles and at 8/1 is worth chancing.

BRIMHAM ROCKS was well backed last time and beat a weak field in a very comfortable manner. I was impressed with him as a specimen and he looks the type to keep on improving. This is a much stronger race but I'm pretty sure the best is yet to come with this Ralph Beckett-trained three year old.

EAST COAST LADY has been quite versatile trip ise in her career and dropping down to six furlongs shouldn't hold any problems for this previous Newmarket winner. There's a chance she could get a soft time up front if breaking well and could be hard to pass.
SOMETHING LUCKY has always had a problem with starting slowly, but last time out the blindfold was removed late and the time before that he reared when the gates opened. It was only four runs ago when he was only beaten three lengths off a 10lb higher mark. He switches back to turf today and he has some decent form in the book with a bit of cut off much higher marks. He runs after a 55 day lay-off. There's a chance this may have sweetened him up a tad and off a mark of 60 he's worth a play at 25/1.
