Risk and Roll did everything right last time out at Kempton and THOUNDER did everything wrong at Huntingdon.
Both ended up victorious but of the two, I feel THOUNDER will have learned a lot more from his hurdle debut and has more improvement in him.
His jumping was average and he took a fierce tug for most of the race and beat a good yardstick in Plato’s Kode.
William Clarke takes a handy 10lb off his back and 6/4 today looks a fair price.
Michael Blake has been in decent form of late and his representative Broadway Dreams is the most interesting out of those making their hurdle debut.
