There are a few in-form horses coming into this race.
Cut the Corner has been in superb form this summer winning his last two races, there may have been doubts whether the 2m would be too sharp last time but he managed to keep Muwalla at bay, winning by two and a half lengths. He's up a total of 12lbs combined for his last two runs and he will need to run a personal best once again to make it a hat-trick of wins.
Degooch is another who is coming off a victory, he won in convincing fashion over course and distance but I have my doubts as to how strong that form is and he has to tend with a 10lb hike in the weights.
My pin falls onto MIDNIGHT COWBOY. He failed in his attempt to land a hat-trick last time out but I feel out of the three mentioned his form has the most solid look to it.
He's also only a six-year-old and may have the most improvement to come from the field. I hope there is a decent pace today and can see him travelling well and bringing in the sweets late on.
