Timi Roll made his hurdling debut in November in a decent novice hurdle having had more than a year off and he ran a real solid race in finishing third to Peace News.
In his next two starts he was beaten at 4/6 and 4/7 while showing a tendency to hang a little, combined with some sketchy jumping.
His last two starts have been over 2m 4f which have put less pressure on his technique and he finally broke his maiden tag last time out at Tipperary, but it is hard to get a real grasp on what the form amounts to and he drops back down in trip today.
LE RICHEBOURG (8/11 Sky Bet) has a nicer profile and looked a horse with a lot of class on his hurdling debut as he showed a lethal turn of foot having jumped in a very slick manner.
I hope Jody McGarvey doesn't give Ruby Walsh too much rope early on and with a clean round of jumping I would expect the selection to have too much speed and class for his rivals, with the added bonus of getting weight from his nearest market rival.

DEFINITE INCOME (10/1 Sky Bet) was in the process of running big races on her last two chase starts. The form of her run at Clonmel reads well and she wasn't beaten when falling two out. She returns to hurdling today in a handicap and still looks on a competitive mark.
