Professional punter Murt Khan heads to Perth for today's best bet, with a habitual runner-up set to finally get his head back in front.

It's hard to get away from Deauville's Dancer claims but has been raised a total of 19lb for his last two wins. He could easily defy this rise and is the one to beat.

Owne Na View is a bit in and out but has every chance of going close if he puts his best foot forward. He won off this mark last October and a repetition of that run will see him go close.

A horse who keeps hitting the woodwork of late is NOCHES DE REYES, runner-up in six of his last eight starts.

With a record like that, I normally look to take him on but this could be the race where everything falls right.

His last two runs look really solid on paper. Last time out he got into a bit of a burn up and set the race up for Dream Bolt. His run before that he finished a close second to Festive Affair who has gone on to win since.

This time, he should get a nice toe into things from Toledo Gold and Vodka Wells and in a race which will take little winning, the top weight can strike.
