Ralph Beckett mulling Isabel De Urbina options

Trainer Ralph Beckett is considering options in Britain and Ireland for his bet365 Lancashire Oaks entry Isabel De Urbina.

The daughter of Lope De Vega has already won Listed prizes at Goodwood and Pontefract this season and is set for a step up to Pattern class on her next start.

Beckett is not ruling out the possibility of letting his four-year-old line up in Saturday's Group Two feature at Haydock, but the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Stanerra Stakes at Leopardstown on Thursday week, as well as the Qatar Lillie Langtry Stakes at Goodwood on August 2, have been identified as alternative targets.

"I wasn't sold on running her in the Lancashire Oaks, it's only 13 days since Pontefract, but we'll see how we feel about her during the week," the trainer told At The Races.

"She could run. She's in the new race in Ireland over a mile and six (furlongs) and the Lillie Langtry seemed like a good idea as well."

Isabel De Urbina is one of 13 fillies in contention for the Lancashire Oaks.

Leading contenders include Andrew Balding's Horseplay, the Luca Cumani-trained course and distance winner God Given and Precious Ramotswe from John Gosden's yard.

Aidan O'Brien's Munster Oaks heroine Flattering and Cimeara are potential challengers from Ireland.
