Number one overall draft pick Kyler Murray made his debut in the opening week of pre-season, along with fellow debutants Daniel Jones and Dwayne Haskins, but Christian Wade stole the show.
The former British & Irish Lions winger Wade took his first touch in the NFL 65 yards for a touchdown for the Buffalo Bills in one of the best, if not THE best, debut in league history.
Wade arrived in Buffalo as part of the NFL International pathways program where the Bills get an extra roster spot to try him out, and he could hardly have made a better first impression.

There was only a brief glimpse of Arizona’s shiny new quarterback Murray in their loss to the Oakland Raiders, but he looked sharp and capable on his one and only drive.
The Giants’ sixth overall pick Daniel Jones went a perfect five-of-five on his first taste of NFL action stepping in for starting quarterback Eli Manning.
Jones drove his side 79 yards for a touchdown to Bennie Fowler and showed great poise and pass placement in what was a promising start in the toughest of environments in New York.

Patrick Mahomes is still Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs offence is still a potent, high-power unit, behind their star quarterback and lightning quick skill position players.
QB Josh Rosen was shipped off to Miami to make room for Murray in Arizona, and he started well with his new team as he faces a battle for the starting spot with professional journeyman Ryan Fitzpatrick.
