Denver at Philadelphia (1800GMT, Sky Sports Action and Main Event)
The Broncos have seen one mistake too many from quarterback Trevor Siemian over the last few weeks and his job has gone to Brock Osweiler ahead of a trip to arguably the best team in the league.
Three more Siemian picks against AFC West rivals Kansas City on Monday night - including one of the worst throws you will see this season - means Osweiler is back under centre at a team where he was heir apparent to Peyton Manning some 18 months ago.
His big-money move to Houston flopped badly before becoming part of a personally embarrassing deal with Cleveland but now comes full circle as he bids to rebuild his career on a league minimum pay packet this season.
The NFL remains one of the great bastions of opportunity so a couple of decent games from Osweiler could secure his future - he won’t ever be confused with Ken Stabler or Brett Favre but Denver’s coaching staff will settle for straightforward ball security at the moment.
"I am hoping this move can stabilise the offense," said head coach Vance Joseph after announcing the change under centre.
"We can’t see where we are until we stop turning the football over."
‘Where they are’ currently is a team that has averaged 9.4 points per game in the last three weeks and that is not seriously going to trouble a Philadelphia outfit with a 7-1 record and an average this season of 29 points per outing.
They have a new but familiar face in their midst too after a deadline day trade with Miami for running back Jay Ajayi, who will be eased into the rotation gradually and is likely to see just limited action on Sunday.
While Siemian has sprayed the ball all over to players in the wrong-coloured jerseys, Eagles QB Carson Wentz has gone about his second season with quiet efficiency having thrown 19 touchdowns to five interceptions and an impressive rating of 101.6 at the helm of the NFL’s sixth-ranked offense.
His development continues here against the best overall defense currently, one that knows they will have to be right on the money in a bid to keep this one close with Osweiler not anticipated to immediately light up the scoreboard.
I think it is the Denver defense which will pick up the gauntlet and give the Broncos a chance to get their record back to .500 or risk seeing their season start to slip away even at this juncture.
Denver are distinctly middle of the road when it comes to sacks so far this season but that should be a cue for the fearsome Von Miller to get rolling while their "No Fly Zone" secondary will be the toughest test yet for the impressive Wentz.
They can keep this close and in the hope Osweiler's mistakes are minimal, then Philadelphia to register under 24.5 points is a good option.
