Manchester United will venture off to Kazakhstan after being handed an interesting Europa League draw, while Arsenal have last year's semi-finalist Eintracht Frankfurt, Wolves will fancy their chances and Celtic and Rangers both have tougher tests.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side should have few problems navigating their group, but they could have done without the lengthy 6,000-mile round trip to Kazakhstan to face Astana on a Thursday night, while they also drew out Partizan Belgrade and AZ Alkmaar.
Beaten finalists Arsenal have German side Eintracht Frankfurt, although they've lost their top striker Luka Jovic to Real Madrid, with Belgium's Standard Liege and Vitoria of Portugal completing their section.
Wolves face a testing trip to Turkey to face Besiktas in their return to European football, but with Braga and Slovan Bratislava also in their group Nuno Espirito Santo's side look well placed to get through.
Celtic have to face Serie A side Lazio, French side Rennes and FC Cluj so have no walkover themselves, while Rangers go up against Porto, Feyenoord and Young Boys in what also looks like a difficult task.
