The Premier League Sack Race: Latest odds in the next manager to leave market including Claude Puel odds-on, Neil Warnock at 10/1

David Wagner has become the latest Premier League manager to leave his job, albeit by mutual consent, and now Claude Puel is the favourite to follow suit.

Away wins at Chelsea and Everton, with both goals in the 1-0 scorelines coming from Jamie Vardy, as well as a home win against Manchester City is still not enough to see his odds lengthened in the market.

Results in between and after these respective victories have scarred Puel's chances that little bit more, with home losses to Cardiff and his former club Southampton not helping him in his quest to stay at Leicester City. His job security was not handed a helping hand as the Foxes were knocked out of the FA Cup to Sky Bet League Two side Newport County, who ran out 2-1 victors.

Despite the threats over his style of football and the results he has been attaining, Puel has guided Leicester to eighth position, just one point behind Watford in seventh, though the Frenchman is as low as 1/3 to be relieved of his duties with Sky Bet.

Added to this are reports in Wednesday's Sun that the Foxes are lining up Celtic's Brendan Rogers to takeover the hot seat at the King Power.

Neil Warnock is the second favourite to leave his post at 10/1, although his side have only lost one in four, winning once and drawing twice in that time.

Cardiff are just a solitary point above the relegation zone, which makes their encounter against Newcastle at the weekend all the more important, especially with Rafa Benitez standing at the same odds as Warnock to be the next Premier League manager to leave.

There should be a clear second-favourite after this contest, with either manager having their odds slashed depending on the outcome of the result.

The clock is ticking for Benitez and Warnock - their time may be limited

Benitez has had money problems since the start of the season and has no real intention of signing more players to aid survival, so he could be value-for-money if the ongoing issues surrounding Mike Ashley and Newcastle are to continue.

Sean Dyche was as low as 9/2 to leave Burnley after their shocking first half of the season, however he has turned it around and now has had his odds lengthened to a hefty 20/1, with his side registering three successive Premier League wins against West Ham, Huddersfield and Burnley to lift the Clarets to 15th in the table - yet they are only three points above the drop.

David Wagner left Huddersfield by mutual consent, after losing nine successive matches in all competitions, eight of those coming in the Premier League, leaving them in bottom position and eight points adrift of safety.

Wagner became the fourth Premier League manager to leave this campaign, behind Slavisa Jokanovic of Fulham, Mark Hughes at Southampton and then most notably Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

Due to this, the 'No Manager to Leave' odds come in at the same as Neil Warnock and Rafa Benitez, with the four managers above already leaving their post.
