Arsenal v Bournemouth
Dave John predicts: 2-1 – The Gunners are far from convincing currently but will surely have enough about them to edge to a home victory.
Jack Abbott predicts: 3-2 Arsenal at 20/1 - I'm expecting plenty of goals here with two attacking sides with struggling defences. Arsenal have conceded 12 goals in their first three fixtures so expect an eventful match at The Emirates.
Opta stat: Bournemouth have only avoided defeat once in all competitions against the Gunners – this came at the Vitality Stadium last season, when the Cherries let a three-goal lead slip to draw 3-3 in January in the Premier League.
Brighton v West Brom
Dave John predicts: 1-1 The Baggies have been solid so far but Seagulls can finally open their scoring account with a goal in the top flight.
Jack Abbott predicts: 1-0 West Brom at 11/2. Brighton are still waiting their first Premier League goal having failed to score last time out against 10 men of Watford. The Baggies have won 2 of their opening 3 fixtures by 1-0 so I would expect to see a typical Tony Pulis away performance in Brighton.
Opta stat: Tony Pulis has won seven of his last eight managerial meetings against Brighton (D1), most recently a 3-0 victory in the FA Cup fifth round as Stoke boss in February 2011 when the Seagulls were managed by Gus Poyet.
Everton v Tottenham
Dave John predicts: 1-2 -Spurs ready to get back to winning ways and can take full advantage of a game away from Wembley.
Jack Abbott predicts: 1-3 at 16/1. I can see Spurs kick-starting their season here with Rooney's off the field issues during the international break clouding the preparations for Everton.
Opta stat: Everton have won 10 of their 11 Premier League home games in 2017 so far (W10 D0 L1) – only opponents Spurs (31) have won more points in home games than Everton (30) in this period.
Leicester v Chelsea
Dave John predicts: 1-1 - The last two champions go head-to-head and point each fancied as the outcome
Jack Abbott predicts: 2-2 at 14/1. I can see this being a tough day for defences with both Vardy and Mahrez looking back to their best and Morata has started the season well both for club and country.
Opta stat: Chelsea have won five of their last six away matches against the Foxes (L1), scoring at least three goals in all of those victories, including two last season (4-2 in the League Cup, 3-0 in the Premier League).
Southampton v Watford
Dave John predicts: 1-1 - Two evenly matched outfits on what we have seen so far and a low-scoring draw is the call.
Jack Abbott predicts: 0-1 Watford at 12/1. Southampton have struggled to find the net this season, only scoring against the 10 men of West Ham. On the other hand Watford have looked solid with a draw to Liverpool, a win away to Bournemouth and holding off with 10 men away to Brighton to steal a point.
Opta stat: Southampton have failed to score in eight of their last 11 Premier League matches, including two of their three games so far in 2017-18.
Sunderland v Sheffield Utd
Nick Hext predicts: 1-1 - Sunderland are favourites to get the win but I reckon Sheffield United can spring a surprise. The Blades are boosted by a couple of home victories in a row and they should have left Middlesbrough with a draw last month but a late equaliser was controversially ruled out. I'm going with the Blades to leave with a point thanks to a 1-1 draw.
Jack Abbott predicts: 1-2 at 11/1. Sunderland have struggled of late and new signing Clayton Donaldson will add extra fire power for the visitors alongside Billy Sharp.
Opta stat: Sunderland haven’t won a league match in September since 2012, enduring a run of three draws and nine defeats since a 1-0 home win over Wigan, but Sheffield United have failed to score in either of their away league games this season.
