Nick Hext is going low on goals in Sunday's televised Sky Bet League One clash between AFC Wimbledon and Peterborough.
Sunday's TV game
There is Sky Bet EFL action to enjoy on Sunday afternoon as AFC Wimbledon host Peterborough, live on Sky Sports Football at 1430 GMT. The Dons are scrapping at the wrong end of the standings and I reckon they will keep it tight in this clash against inconsistent Posh. The visitors to Kingsmeadow won 1-0 at home to leaders Shrewsbury in their last League One outing but that is just a second win in nine matches for Grant McCann's side. Neal Ardley's Dons are also struggling to maintain momentum - the record in their last six games is W-W-L-L-L-W - but their matches are consistently close. Only three of AFC Wimbledon's last 15 matches have contained more than 2.5 goals and I recommend backing defences to be on top in this contest.
Saturday's TV game
This weekend's Sky Bet EFL action opens with Doncaster hosting Rotherham at the Keepmoat Stadium in front of the Sky Sports cameras, kick-off 1230 GMT. I'm backing 17th-placed Rovers to spring a surprise and get the better of the play-off chasing Millers. Doncaster have picked up form in the last couple of months and they've only suffered one defeat in their previous five outings on their own turf. Rotherham have won just one of their last five games but they have been full of goals. All of those matches have come in at over the 2.5 goals mark so Doncaster to win in a match with three or more goals looks the way to go.
Home comforts
Bradford to beat Plymouth to nil, Sky Bet League One (Saturday, 1500 GMT)
Bradford are rightly odds-on across the board to win at home to bottom-of-the-table Plymouth but I think there's way to get a bit more value in backing the Bantams. Stuart McCall's promotion chasers have claimed their last three home wins in Sky Bet League One to nil. A much-changed Bradford line-up lost 3-0 to Rotherham in the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday night but I'm not concerned as the Bantams had only conceded one goal in the four matches prior to that outing. Plymouth have shown more mettle in recent weeks but they are a long way short of Bradford's quality and the favourites should be supported.
Mad about the Hatters
Luton to beat Cheltenham, Sky Bet League Two (Saturday, 1500 GMT)
Luton to win at Cheltenham is my best bet of the weekend in the EFL. The Hatters are third in a congested scrap at the top of the League Two standings but I reckon they are the class side in the field. The Hatters have only lost once in their last 13 outings and they are unbeaten in eight matches on the road since losing at Barnet way back on August 12. Cheltenham were beaten 4-2 by non-league Maidstone in the FA Cup last weekend and they are a long way short of Luton's quality in this match. Odds-against for the Hatters to get the three points is well worth taking.
Recommended bet
2pts Luton to beat Cheltenham at 5/4
