Recap our Deadline Day Blog on the final day of the summer transfer window.
0110 We could wait all night but this seems like the time to bid farewell. There is still no news on Danny Drinkwater's potential move to Chelsea and others deals so join us first thing in the morning to pick up anything that happens in the next few hours.
0054: Have a read of Friday's Paper Talk as we continue to wait. Plenty in there about Alexis Sanchez.
0045: Still waiting for some potential late deals in the Premier League. We will be here until at least 0100 BST for confirmation of any moves.
0005: Friday starts but we are still expecting more Deadline Day transfers to be confirmed. This story has all of the summer's Premier League moves but it isn't complete yet.
2343: A bit more on done deals for Tottenham and Swansea.
2334: Chelsea have managed to add Torino full-back Davide Zappacosta to their squad.
2332: Here's the story on three of the players that didn't find new clubs today.
2324: Celtic have finally completed the loan signing of Paris St Germain teenager Odsonne Edouard.
Edouard - Celtic's fifth signing of the summer transfer window - said: "I am absolutely delighted to be joining Celtic, one of the world's truly great football clubs, and I can't wait to wear the famous Celtic jersey.
"I am really looking forward to meeting my new team-mates and we will work hard together to bring our fans as much success as possible."
2323: Here's what Everton's majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri has to say about Ross Barkley missing out on a move to Chelsea.
"After the medical we heard from Paul Martin, Ross Barkley's agent, that he changed his mind and wanted to reconsider his position during the January window, that is the latest," he said.
"He is currently injured so I think technically he will be with us because he is under contract for another year. So it is a big surprise, but that is football."
2321: In the Sky Bet Championship, Clayton Donaldson is a new arrival at Sheffield United.
2319: A couple of done deals in the Premier League concerning Swansea.
Fernando Llorente's switch to Tottenham has been confirmed but Wilfried Bony is back at the Liberty Stadium.
2312: A couple of late deals to bring you up to date with in the Premier League.
Tim Krul has left Newcastle for a season-long loan spell with Brighton and defender Aleksandar Dragovic has joined Leicester on loan from Bayer Leverkusen.
2310: Interesting late deal in the Sky Bet Championship.
Sheffield Wednesday have signed Derby midfielder Jacob Butterfield on loan until the end of the season.
In return, Owls striker Sam Winnall has joined Derby on loan until the end of the season.
2302: There is still time for completed deals to be announced. We are looking at Danny Drinkwater to Chelsea and Mamadou Sakho to Crystal Palace as likely to be confirmed.
2301: Kind of.
2300: THE SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW IS SHUT!
2244: Sky Sports News report that Chelsea are 'very close' to signing Danny Drinkwater from Leicester.
Just 16 minutes remain in the summer transfer window but remember it could be after 2300 BST when we get the confirmation.
2239: Danny Drinkwater is now 1/4 to join Chelsea after Ross Barkley turned them down but there isn't much time left to make this deal happen. The Leicester man is 11/4 to stay put but it looks like the Foxes will keep Riyad Mahrez, who is 1/4 to remain.
2223: Back to the Sky Sources as they understand that Everton midfielder Ross Barkley has rejected a move to Chelsea after the two clubs agreed a £30million fee.
Looks like Barkley will remain with the Toffees. Surely one of many players set to be looking for a move again in January.
2216: The Sky Bet odds suggest Danny Drinkwater will make that move to Chelsea in the nick of time. He's 2/7 to end up at Stamford Bridge and 5/2 to stay at Leicester while his team-mate Riyad Mahrez is 3/1 to follow him there.
2201: Writing that in capital letters made it appear more exciting than it currently appears. Danny Drinkwater to Chelsea looks like the most possible late deal of note at the top of the Premier League.
Should be plenty of other completed transfers though.
2200: ONE HOUR REMAINING IN THE SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW!
2152: The Sky sources report that Danny Drinkwater is awaiting permission from Leicester to undergo a last-minute medical with Chelsea.
It's looking like that's the last possible 'big' transfer in this window. Alexis Sanchez, Jonny Evans, Thomas Lemar, Ross Barkley and Riyad Mahrez all set to stay put.
2143: Arsenal forward Joel Campbell has joined Real Betis on a season-long loan.
2135: Danny Drinkwater was odds-on with Sky Bet to make a move to Chelsea a few moments ago but he's now even-money to sign for the champions and 8/11 to stay at Leicester, who look like they will also keep Riyad Mahrez from a switch to Stamford Bridge.
With time running out quickly, one move which could still happen is Andre Gomes to Tottenham. He's evens to make that move but 8/11 to remain at Barcelona.
2133: Thomas Lemar scores again for France. He'll now be worth even more in January!
2125: A couple more interesting loan moves in the Sky Bet Championship as Gary Gardner joins Barnsley and Adam Federici arrives at Nottingham Forest.
2121: It doesn't look like he's changing clubs tonight but Thomas Lemar has scored a cracking goal as France lead Netherlands 2-0.
Look at what you could have won.
2052: Sky Sports understands Adrien Silva has been granted permission to leave Portugal's training camp to undergo a medical with Leicester.
The deal for the midfielder depends on Danny Drinkwater joining Chelsea.
Just over two hours to go now until the transfer window slams shut.
2050: A lot of the big deals we were expecting are now seemingly dropping like flies - and the odds suggest Riyad Mahrez is another star name who looks set to stay put. The Algerian is 8/15 with Sky Bet to remain at Leicester while Chelsea are 5/4 to snap him up with just over two hours to go until the window shuts.
However, the champions are 1/2 to pick up fellow Foxes star Danny Drinkwater, who is 6/4 to stay.
2032: A loan departure from Liverpool as Ryan Kent joins German outfit Freiburg on loan.
2025: Let's bring you up to date with a few of the deals this evening in the Sky Bet EFL.
- Fulham have added to their attacking options with the loan signing of Jordan Graham from Wolves.
- John Brayford is back at Burton.
- Bolton have boosted their squad with the arrival of Craig Noone from Cardiff.
- Alex Bruce is on the move again as he joins Wigan.
2014: Wayne Rooney has a new team-mate at Everton.
The Toffees have signed Nikola Vlasic from Hajduk Split.
Vlasic told the club's official website: "I am very excited about the opportunity to play for this big club,” said the Croatia international. “The Premier League is the best league in the world and this is one of the top clubs in England. It is such a big honour for me to be here.
"When I heard that Everton were interested in me, I knew straight away I wanted to come here. Whenever someone called my manager or my father, I told them I only wanted to come to Everton.
"The ambition of the Club is to ultimately play in the Champions League and I want to help achieve that goal. I believe in myself and in this team - I think we can do great things together."
2012: This story is up to date with all of this summer's completed transfers in the Premier League, including Wayne Rooney's return to Everton.
Still time for a few of the rumours listed to happen as well.
2001: The clock is ticking on the big deals that haven't already been completed or fallen through so let's take a look at the pick of the Sky Bet odds...
- Philippe Coutinho - 9/4 to join Barca, 1/3 to stay at Liverpool
- Ross Barkley - 5/2 to join Tottenham, 1/3 to stay at Everton
- Riyad Mahrez - 1/1 to join Chelsea, 8/11 to stay at Leicester
1959: Bojan Krkic has left Stoke for a season-long loan move to Alaves.
1955: Those Sky sources understand that neither Alexis Sanchez or Virgil van Dijk will be moving tonight.
Both players are odds-on at 1/20 with Sky Bet to remain with their current clubs.
1953: Leicester midfielder Nampalys Mendy has joined Nice on a season-long loan,
1950: Apologies for the delay, my computer was so excited by Deadline Day that I had to restart it. Can only assume Newcastle are doing the same thing which explains their lack of transfer activity.
1933: Another one in for Watford as they confirm the signing of defender Molla Wague from Udinese on a season-long loan.
1930: Another completed transfer in the Premier League as Brighton sign defender Ezequiel Schelotto from Sporting Lisbon.
Boss Chris Hughton told the club's official website: "We are delighted that Ezequiel is joining us. He has made nearly 190 appearances in the top flight in Italy and Portugal and has played in the Champions League, and is the type of experienced player we want to add to the squad.
“He can also play as a more attacking wing-back and so gives us some good options in defence.”
1912: As expected, Arsenal striker Lucas Perez has re-joined Deportivo La Coruna on loan until the end of the season.
1903: A big done deal to report from the Sky Bet Championship as Birmingham sign Jota from Brentford for a club-record fee.
1900: Get the full story on Kylian Mbappe's move from Monaco to PSG.
1858: Leicester's Danny Drinkwater is 5/2 with Sky Bet to sign for Chelsea having been odds-on earlier this week so that deal is also looking increasingly unlikely. But the night is still young...
1850: Press Association Sport understands Liverpool have accepted a £26million bid from Crystal Palace for defender Mamadou Sakho.
That would be a vital signing for the Eagles, who have lost all three of their Premier League matches so far this season.
1849: This story has the latest on Thomas Lemar and Alexis Sanchez.
1840: Press Association Sport reporting that Arsenal appear unlikely to complete the signing of Monaco forward Thomas Lemar, meaning Manchester City's bid to sign Alexis Sanchez also looks destined to fail.
Still four hours and 20 minutes to get these deals done. Possibly. Possibly not.
1835: Big news confirmed from France as Paris St Germain sign Kylian Mbappe on a season-long deal from Monaco with an option to buy. We will have more details on that deal shortly.
1833: The BBC are reporting that Manchester City's bid to sign Alexis Sanchez is over.
Sanchez is odds-on at 1/3 with Sky Bet to remain with Arsenal and 9/4 to complete a late move to City.
It's starting to feel like this evening's main news will be the players that don't change clubs.
1826: Sky Bet's odds suggest Liverpool are going to miss out on signing Virgil van Dijk, who is 7/2 to join and 1/6 to stay with Southampton, and Thomas Lemar, who seems set to stay at Monaco. Lemar is 9/2 to end up at Anfield and 12/1 to make the switch to Arsenal.
Liverpool fans will no doubt be encouraged by Coutinho's odds to join Barcelona drifting to 11/4 - although Spanish clubs have until midnight on Friday.
1818: News from Manchester City as Jason Denayer joins Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal.
1812: Back to Deadline Day and Watford have confirmed the signing of defender Marvin Zeegelaar from Sporting Lisbon on a four-year deal.
1808: There is some actual football being played tonight with nine World Cup qualifiers in Europe, including France v Netherlands. You'll want a read of Andy Schooler's preview.
1759: Let us go to Italy for the news that Torino have announced the signing of M'Baye Niang from AC Milan.
1755: A reminder of your timings for the rest of this evening.
The transfer window closes at 2300 BST for English, French and Italian clubs but there's an extra day for clubs in Spain to get things done, midnight tomorrow the deadline for them.
No more time for clubs in Germany, the window there shut just under an hour ago.
1752: Teenage central defender Kyle Jameson has joined West Brom from Chelsea.
1745: Mansfield manager Steve Evans is live in the Sky Sports studio. The Stags aren't in the running to sign Philippe Coutinho.
1739: As we head towards the 'evening session', let's take a look at the latest Sky Bet odds of the biggest moves still seemingly in limbo...
- Philippe Coutinho - 11/10 to join Barca, 4/6 to stay at Liverpool
- Alexis Sanchez - 7/4 to join Man City, 2/5 to stay at Arsenal
- Virgil van Dijk - 11/4 to join Liverpool, 1/4 to stay at Southampton
- Ross Barkley - 5/2 to join Tottenham, 1/3 to stay at Everton
- Thomas Lemar - 9/4 to join Arsenal, 7/1 for Liverpool, 4/9 to stay at Monaco
- Riyad Mahrez - 8/13 to join Chelsea, 7/4 to stay at Leicester
It's worth noting that Sanchez was 1/5 to join Man City around two hours ago!
1735: I've taken a quick break from the blog to get you all of the completed Deadline Day transfer so far - find them in this story.
1718: Interesting done deal to bring you from the Bundesliga.
Borussia Dortmund have signed highly-rated England youth international Jadon Sancho from Manchester City.
Press Association Sport understands the German club have paid around £8million for the 17-year-old in a deal which also guarantees City will receive a substantial sell-on clause should he move on again.
1700: Thomas Lemar is now 4/5 with Sky Bet to join Arsenal while Liverpool have drifted out to 7/1 from 4/1 to swoop. It's 5/4 that the Monaco star stays right where he is.
1657: Nani has joined Lazio on a season-long loan from Valencia.
1652: There's plenty of deals going on outside the Premier League. Time for the latest from the Sky Bet EFL.
Middlesbrough have added Oxford winger Marvin Johnson to their squad, this is the second Deadline Day in a row that Johnson has changed clubs after joining the U's from Motherwell this time last year.
Leeds have completed a double deal by swooping for Pierre-Michel Lasogga on a season-long loan from Hamburg and Malmo forward Pawel Cibicki on a permanent deal.
There's also activity in League Two. Exeter have broken their transfer record to sign Aberdeen striker Jayden Stockley after the sale of midfielder David Wheeler to QPR at the start of the day.
1647: Let us stay on the betting theme for a moment to point you in the direction of Sky Bet's Deadline Day Specials.
The online bookmaker are offering 25/1 for every Premier League club to sign a player today and there's 8/1 for any Sky Bet Championship team to spend £20million on a single deal.
1642: Sky Bet have suspended betting on Lucas Perez's future. The Arsenal striker, who was linked with Newcastle this morning, was backed at as short as 1/10 to join Deportivo so this news would suggest he could well be on the brink of a move to Spain.
1633: Alexis Sanchez is now as short as 2/7 with Sky Bet to join Manchester City this evening, he's 5/2 to stay with Arsenal.
That could lead to Thomas Lemar making a move to Arsenal. He's 1/3 to arrive at the Emirates Stadium and 5/2 to remain with Monaco.
1630: Thank you to Dave Tickner for getting us started. I'm Nick Hext and I'll be with you until the transfer window slams shut. More than likely quite a few hours after that as well
1600: Seven hours to go! And then another couple of hours while we wait to see if late stuff has gone through! Which it will!
1545: Fair to say there's more to come than has happened so far. Tottenham are 9/4 to be the Premier League club to bring in the most new faces today, with Liverpool 4/1 and Chelsea 5/1. Arsenal now 10/11 not to sign anyone today; the better (and obviously related) news for Gunners is that Alexis Sanchez is back in to 6/5 to stay at the Emirates. It's 25/1 for every Premier League club to sign someone. Manchester United the most obvious stumbling block there, you'd think.
1538: One for the #AgainstModernFootball crowd: Renato Sanches will wear shirt number 85 at Swansea.
1528: My eyes have gone, clearly. Siege of Boston wins! Diafra Sakho's agent can now get back to work.
1527: We still don't know where Riyad Mahrez is. Fair play to him. The only place we know for sure that he's not is the Leicester car park.
1526: Close! Siege of Boston just beaten for mine. Photo finish, though.
1523: Running a bit late at Chelmsford. We'll bring you the result from the 3.20 as soon as we can.
1515: Confirmed: Mark McKay is at Chelmsford. What a game.
1512: It's gone quiet. To the extent that we've just had a long conversation in the office about our Game of Thrones theories. #TeamSansa
Meanwhile, Divock Origi, who sounds like he could be a Game of Thrones character, has signed for Wolfsburg, which would definitely be the Starks' football team of choice.
1454: Alexis Sanchez now 1/5 for Manchester City. Chelsea, meanwhile, are back at the head of the Riyad Mahrez market having been backed all the way back in to 2/5, with Barca drifting from odds-on to 6/1.
1451: BURNLEY SIGN NAHKI WELLS
1423: Diafra Sakho wants to leave West Ham, and went off to France without permission yesterday. Talks with the Hammers board today have now apparently been delayed until after the 3.20 at Chelmsford City because his agent Mark McKay's horse Siege of Boston is running. It's currently 4/1 second fav. Proper Deadline Day antics, these.
1414: Jamie Carragher on superb form here. SSN cut him off mid-flow so that they could bring the breaking news that Jack Wilshere might go to Birmingham on loan. Back to Jamie: "Cutting me off for Jack Wilshere going to Birmingham on loan? That's not breaking news. Virgil van Dijk going to Liverpool would be breaking news." Jamie Carragher is all of us.
1407: The latest on Alexis Sanchez is here.
1404: SWANSEA SIGN RENATO SANCHES ON LOAN. That's an eye-catcher, the Paul Clement link key to getting one of football's most highly-rated prospects at the Liberty for the season.
1352: Live now on SSN: Natalie Sawyer talking about the Deadline Day in front of a screen showing Natalie Sawyer talking about Deadline Day. It's Deadline Dayception.
1344: Watford have signed someone from Udinese, fancy that. Goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis on a season-long loan, if you're interested. SSN's man in Hertfordshire, Gary Cotterill, meanwhile, looking like Alan Partridge when he went to Marple for the horse racing. It's raining.
1343: Southampton's training ground looks like a giant sauna. Why would anyone ever want to leave?
1338: Turns out someone else in the office managed to turn down the volume on my telly while adjusting theirs.
1337: The sound's cut out on Sky Sports News. A great calm washes over me. Bliss.
1328: One of the surprises for me thus far today is that we've still seen no significant movement in the Philippe Coutinho market. It's still basically a pick 'em. Something has to give there soon, surely.
1325: "Senior, reliable source" tells SSN that Manchester City have made a second bid for Alexis Sanchez. Straight cash bid, no players involved.
1316: "Where exactly is Riyad Mahrez?" asks David Garrido on SSN. Still no definitive answer is forthcoming.
1315: Sky Sources: Leicester have had no contact from Chelsea over Riyad Mahrez. Barcelona harden to 8/11 there.
1310: Couple of Spurs lines from SSN's Jamie Weir. The Llorente deal may also see poor old Vincent Janssen heading the other way on loan, even though Swansea have also agreed a deal with Manchester City to re-sign Wilfried Bony. Meanwhile, Spurs are also still in talks with Everton over Ross Barkley. Another Chelsea-Spurs wrangle could yet be on the cards there - current betting is 9/4 Chelsea, 3/1 Spurs, 6/5 no move.
1308: Virgil van Dijk leaves Southampton's training ground in a blacked-out car. LIVERPOOL FANS ASSEMBLE.
1305: Re. 1243: No. Spurs now 20/1 for Mahrez. Barcelona in with a bullet at 10/11.
1243: Looks like Spurs have beaten Chelsea to Fernando Llorente - that's now 1/20 to go through with reports that he's undergoing a medical - but could they also gazump the champions for hide-and-seek champion Riyad Mahrez? Spurs now 6/1 from 10/1 to sign the Algerian.
1237: Hungry now. Really fancy a sickly chocolate biscuit for reasons I can't put my finger on.
1230: TOTTENHAM SIGN SERGE AURIER. Slightly worried that Oreos have magic powers. Wonder if Spurs... signed an Aurier...
1201: LIVERPOOL SIGN ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN. Did... did the Oreo song work!?
1158: Oreo advert's on again. Wonder if I... twist an Oreo. Would some transfers... start to trickle through?
I need some air. Clear my head.
1152: #WhereisMahrez: He's now 1/2 to turn up at Chelsea. Arsenal out to 12/1. Tottenham 10/1. There could be a superb twist in this one, though. The answer to the question we've all been asking this morning could yet be "Leicester". Having been 16/1 earlier, Mahrez now just 9/2 not to go anywhere at all.
1143: Kieran Trippier sat out England training this morning due to injury but Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain did take part in the session and "looked relaxed" ahead of his move to Liverpool. Apparently he had a medical down at St George's Park yesterday.
1110: #WhereisMahrez: "Location unknown, somewhere in Europe" is the latest from SSN. Arsenal apparently ruling themselves out but still 3/1 second favourites. Chelsea the new market leaders at 7/4, with Manchester United 11/2 and Deadline Day specialists Tottenham attracting some loose change and in to 8/1.
1106: Arsenal will not accept a cash-only deal for Alexis Sanchez. Manchester City will not offer any player in exchange for Alexis Sanchez. That's the end of that one, then. We'll say no more about it for the rest of the day. *innocent face*
1100: Twelve hours to go!
1053: "This is an interesting one," says the latest SSN anchorsuit, before telling us about Nahki Wells possibly joining Burnley. Don't push me this early in the day, mate.
1052: Sky Bet have a new market up on which Premier League club will sign the most players today. Big boys leading the way with Liverpool 7/2, Spurs 4/1 and Chelsea 6/1. Swansea also in at that price, and 10/1 bar. It's 2/1 for 12 or more Premier League clubs to sign at least one player today.
1050: There are a whole mess of offers, both foreign and domestic, on Everton's desk about taking Kevin Mirallas on loan. None accepted yet, but doesn't mean they won't be.
1030: "We're trying to find out where in the world is Riyad Mahrez," says smiling SSN man David Reed, who has got the tone just right this morning on a channel that can on occasion just be a touch guilty of acting like any of this actually matters.
1029: Ryan Shawcross has signed a new four-year deal at Stoke. It's all happening.
1022: Latest reports are that Leicester have turned down a £25m bid from Bournemouth for Demarai Gray. He's 4/1 to make that move before the day is out. It's .
1017: The Oreo advert with its irritatingly catchy whimsy is on for the 197th time this morning. I'm currently 4/9 to lose my mind by 4pm. At least one Premier League club will pay £20m for a pack of the overly-sweet American bourbon wannabes before the day is out.
1016: It's absolutely wazzing it down with rain at Melwood. Vinny O'Connor stoically holding his position and giving everyone the latest news on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, because he's a professional doing important work. Divock Origi to Wolfsburg on loan as well, reveals the sodden newsman.
1011: Dominic Cork's got the Stoke gig again on SSN. It's possibly even weirder than Andy Townsend turning up.
1007: Quick, read our Which transfers will happen today? feature before it becomes horribly out of date in about four seconds' time.
0955: Fernando Llorente has been massively punted in to join Spurs amid reports that a bid has been accepted. He was 1/5 to join Chelsea as recently as last night; he's now the same price to join Tottenham. Touched 1/10 for Spurs at one point before the market settled itself.
0930: #WhereisMahrez: Not Leicester, according to Sky's man in the car park. The club still saying no new bids despite that Algeria statement.
0928: Still can't quite get my head round seeing Andy Townsend on Sky Sports. It's like seeing Gazza in an Arsenal shirt.
0925: Dwight Gayle has turned up for Newcastle training four hours early. He's turned round and left, possibly never to return. Deadline Day does funny things to people. It's 4/6 he turns up at Fulham, early or otherwise.
0922: Virgil van Dijk has rocked up at Southampton training, sneaking in through a back entrance to dodge all the cameras. A statement from the player says he is "ambitious", keen to play European football again and "frustrated by the club's position that he is not for sale." He's 10/11 to get his wish and end the day a Liverpool player.
0910: This Mahrez thing is going to be fun today. According to Sky's man stationed outside the ground, the Algeria statement has come as a surprise but "nobody knows where Mahrez is". Arsenal continue to be the best-backed answer to what Sky have called "THE BIG QUESTION"; #WhereisMahrez
0856: SSN reporting that Crystal Palace have made a bid for Manchester City's Eliaquim Mangala.
0852: DEADLINE DAY IS OFFICIALLY UNDER WAY: Harry Redknapp is leaning out of a car window talking to a Sky Sports News reporter about possible targets. I don't even know what he said. I was too excited. But it probably involved "the chairman" and "bringing a couple in, if we can". They're 1/5 from 10/1 to sign Jota from Brentford.
I know there's a lot going to happen today, but has to be a risk SSN have peaked before 9am here.
0815: Deadline Day. A genuinely ridiculous concocted nonsense of a thing, and bellwether of all that's wrong with Modern Football. Absolutely no argument there. However, this one's going to be absolutely tremendous. You've probably got to go all the way back to the halcyon days of Robinho and Berbatov to get a Deadline Day with as much going on as this one. I honestly can't recall there ever being so many big names whose futures remained so firmly in the balance at this stage of proceedings.
We've already got Algeria going full Dermot O'Leary announcing the X Factor results over Riyad Mahrez's future. That alone would be enough.
But just based on the Sky Bet odds, all the following could be on the move. Or not. Or to somewhere else. There's absolutely no way this isn't going to be great...
- Philippe Coutinho - 10/11 to join Barca, 4/5 to stay at Liverpool
- Virgil van Dijk - 5/6 to join Liverpool, 5/6 to stay at Southampton
- Ross Barkley - 7/5 to join Chelsea, evens to stay at Everton
- Thomas Lemar - evens to join Liverpool, 10/11 to stay at Monaco
- Riyad Mahrez - 5/4 to join Arsenal, 7/4 to join Barcelona
- Demarai Gray - evens to join Tottenham, 8/11 to stay at Leicester
- Fernando Llorente - 4/9 to join Chelsea, 6/4 to join Tottenham
And that's not even including seemingly done deals like Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool and Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City. And we don't even yet know which unnecessary mediocre player Spurs are going to panic buy in a position they don't need. There is so much fun ahead.
0730: Early news coming from Algeria is that Riyad Mahrez has been given permission to leave the national team's camp in order to complete a transfer from Leicester City to an unnamed club.
The Algerian Football Federation confirmed that Mahrez was allowed to leave the Algeria squad and return to Europe to "formalise his transfer to his new club".
Sky Bet make Mahrez an even-money shot to join Barcelona with Arsenal (7/4) and Chelsea (9/2) with Roma, who have had two two bids reportedly turned down, 25/1 shots to secure his signature.

0025: It could be a busy day for Tottenham.
Fernando Llorente (7/1 with Sky Bet to join Spurs), Andre Gomes (3/1) and Demarai Gray (evens) are all tipped for a move to White Hart Lane, although they will then quickly have to get to Wembley.
0020: The Daily Mirror are claiming that Julian Draxler holds the key to Alexis Sanchez's Arsenal exit.
Arsenal are 9/2 with Sky Bet to sign Draxler from PSG today and that should see Sanchez sign for Manchester City, he's odds-on at 1/2 to complete the move to the Etihad Stadium.
0010: Good morning and welcome to a very early start for our Deadline Day blog. Let us get you started with the rumours from Paper Talk.
