Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes the club should give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the permanent manager's job before the end of the season as results have made it impossible to give it to anyone else.
Solskjarer is, of course, unbeaten as Manchester United manager in the Premier League, and his record start to life as Old Trafford boss has fans calling for him to be confirmed as permanent boss before the end of the season.
Unted have won five more points than anybody else in the time Solskjaer has been at the helm, and former United captain Neville says it makes sense to make the move permanent before the summer - with March's international break perfect timing.
"Ole has made it hard to not get the job," Gary Neville told Sporting Life.
"He has lifted the place, is getting results and the best time to do it would probably be in the international break in March, when they have time to sort it.
"He may already know the outcome, the club may already know and this time would make sense to announce it, with the second leg against PSG in the Champions League out of the way."
Solskjaer's United are setting records all over the place, and he continues to pass important tests such as dealing with three first half injuries against Liverpool - all the time proving he can handle the job full time.
"The records they are setting are astonishing and the points they are collecting, it is difficult to win two or three away games in a row, nevermind nine," Neville added.
"The game against Liverpool was goalless, but they had the first-half injuries and came through it without losing and he has handled each of the opposition brilliantly, you can expect the same on Saturday against Ralph Hasenhuttl and Southampton."
