1925: Hull have signed striker Nouha Dicko from Sky Bet Championship rivals Wolves for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the option of an extra 12 months.

He said: "I am really happy to be here and hopefully it is going to be a good time for the club and for me.

"I'm glad that everything is sorted now and I'm looking forward to settling down here and getting started."

Dicko scored 31 goals in 96 league appearances for Wolves.

1840: Eden Hazard's younger brother Kylian, 22, has joined Chelsea from Hungarian club Ujpest.

Kylian, an attacking midfielder, will be added to the Premier league champions' development squad and could make his debut in their fixture against Sunderland on Saturday week.

1810: Liverpool have rejected a third bid from Crystal Palace for defender Mamadou Sakho, according to Sky sources.

1705: News from Italy where Roma have completed the signing of striker Patrik Schick from Serie A rivals Sampdoria.

The 21-year-old Czech Republic international moves for an initial loan fee of 5million euros after passing his medical on Tuesday.

The deal contains an obligation, "upon the completion of certain sporting objectives", for Roma to buy Schick outright for an additional 9million euros and a series of further payments which could eventually take the total fee up to 42million euros.

1655: Sky Bet Championship QPR have signed Northern Ireland U21 winger Paul Smyth from Irish club Linfield for an undisclosed fee.

"It's a dream come true - it doesn't get much better than this," 20-year-old Smyth told the club's website.

"I've always had a soft spot for QPR - back in the Austin and Zamora days especially. They're two strikers I admire greatly.

"It's a great club and I've been made to feel really welcome."

1625: Sky Bet Championship side Leeds United are in talks with Budesliga outfit Hamburg to sign striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga on a season-long loan, according to Sky sources.

Lasogga began his career with Bayer Leverkusen before moving on to Hertha in 2010 after just one season at the BayArena.

1515: Another potential new arrival to the Premier League won't be arriving. Monaco have reached a £27.9m agreement with Lazio to sign Keita Balde, according to Sky in Italy.

1445: Monaco have completed the signing of former Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic.

That should see Kylian Mbappe's move to PSG get nearer.

In quotes reported on Monaco's website, Jovetic said: "I'm very happy to be here.

"AS Monaco is a big club that played in the semi-finals of the Champions League and won the French title last season.

"There are some great players on this team. That's why I chose AS Monaco."

1430: Norwich have agreed a fee with Newcastle for defender Grant Hanley.

The Scotland international is yet to settle personal terms but the Canaries have made a swift move to sign him, Press Association Sport understands.

1410: Roy Keane, as you would expect, has some interesting comments about the amount of money being spent in this transfer window.

"It's mind-boggling, the figures that are out there - especially for the average players. If ever there was a time to be a professional player it's now. Average players are going for £35million. My goodness," the Republic of Ireland assistant manager said.

"I don't really analyse it too much, but that's the market place at the moment. There aren't many top players out there. The really big players are going for big money and it's filtering down now.

"When average players are going for £30-40million, it does make you scratch your head. But if the clubs are prepared to pay that, then it's not the players' fault."

Asked what Ruud van Nistelrooy would cost now, he replied with a smile: "Ruud would certainly be worth in the market now probably a billion."

"David Beckham?". "A billion." "Ryan Giggs?" "Two billion."

Asked further how much he himself might cost nowadays, he answered: "£3.75million, I think."

1400: There has been plenty of talk on Twitter today about Raheem Sterling being used by Manchester City in a bid to get Alexis Sanchez out of Arsenal.

Sterling is 5/2 with Sky Bet to join the Gunners and odds-on at 2/7 to remain at the Etihad Stadium.

1350: Some news from the Sky Bet Championship.

Preston have refused to accept a written transfer request from in-demand striker Jordan Hugill.

"Preston North End can confirm that Jordan Hugill has (on Tuesday) handed in a written transfer request," the club said in a brief statement on their official website.

"The club have rejected this request and will not be selling him in this transfer window."

1315: Back to the Sky sources as they understand that Arsenal have entered the race to sign Jonny Evans.

He's 3/1 with Sky Bet to join the Gunners. Manchester City are odds-on favourites at 10/11 to sign the West Brom defender.

1305: Sam Allardyce has played down talk of a return to Crystal Palace.

Speaking to Talksport today, he said: "Being associated with any club at this early stage of the season would not be of any interest to me at the moment.

"I have just had a trip to Hawaii watching from afar and I went to watch Manchester United on Saturday and I wouldn't associate myself with any job at this moment in time.

"Three games into the Premier League season, it is a little hasty when people talk about you coming back into football.

"At this moment in time, I am very comfortable in my life. My time in the Premier League for many, many years has been tremendously exciting and I have enjoyed every minute, but having a break from football is the right thing for me to do.

"I am just watching Premier League football with great interest, watching how it is panning out, and not living under the pressures that every manager in the Premier League is."

1250: Everton's chances of signing Hajduk Split midfielder Nikola Vlasic have received a boost after the teenager was given permission to leave national team duty with Croatia's Under-21 side.

In a tweet the Croatia Football Federation confirmed Vlasic had on Tuesday asked permission to leave the squad.

"The U-21 national team's coach, Nenad Gracan, accepted the request of Nikola Vlasic and freed him of this representative action," they said.

1245: There's not much value for Premier League clubs in the transfer window but we hope that our Transfer RequestABets with Sky Bet will make a profit.

They are as follows with Wilshere the one that I'm most keen on...

Jack Wilshere to sign for a club outside England at 10/1

Wilshere failed to shine during his loan spell at Bournemouth so a move away from the Premier League looks exactly what the Arsenal midfielder requires. He attracted serious interest from Roma and AC Milan last summer.

Virgil van Dijk, Ben Gibson, Dwight Gayle, Kenneth Zahore and Moussa Dembele all to stay at 10/1

Van Dijk, Gibson, Zahore and Dembele (the Celtic striker not the Tottenham midfielder) are all too key for their respective clubs to be allowed to leave, while Gayle will stay at Newcastle as Rafael Benitez needs all the attacking options he can get.

Ross Barkley to sign for Tottenham, Calum Chambers to sign for Crystal Palace and Demarai Gray to sign for Bournemouth at 40/1

A big-price for three youngsters with Premier League experience to all secure more first-team football.

Wolves to sign Benik Afobe and Ashley Barnes at 50/1

Wolves are looking for more attacking talent and a return to Molineux for Afobe would be a real winner for the Sky Bet Championship promotion contenders, while Barnes provides exactly the kind of hustle and bustle that they lack.

1220: Here's a blast from the past. Las Palmas have signed former Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani.

1215: We've got news through from the Sky Bet traders on a couple of market moves...

Alexis Sanchez to join Manchester City

Sanchez looked miserable again at Anfield on Sunday as Arsenal received a drubbing and that has rekindled punters' interest in him joining long-term suitors Manchester City. Such a move before Thursday's transfer deadline day has been backed in from 9/4 to 11/8 this morning.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to join Liverpool

We mentioned yesterday how the 'other' soon-to-be-out-of-contract Arsenal man had been backed to join Chelsea. Now Sky Bet report numerous bets for the England midfielder to head north to Liverpool. His odds for such a move have been cut from 13/2 this morning to 4/1. As an addition, Virgil van Dijk has also been backed to head to Anfield from Southampton - that's 2/7 from 8/15 today.

1145: The Bild newspaper in Germany report that Liverpool are the favourites to sign Renato Sanches on loan from Bayern Munich before Thursday’s deadline.

The midfielder had been linked with Swansea in recent days but looks like Anfield could be his destination.

1120: Those Sky sources are reporting that Manchester City are close to making a move for Alexis Sanchez.

Sky Bet go 5/4 that Sanchez joins City and even-money he stays at Arsenal.

1100: He's been linked with Tottenham this summer but Lyon have won the race to complete the signing of Spain Under-19 midfielder Pape Cheikh Diop from Celta Vigo.

1055: Stoke are odds-on with Sky Bet at 1/2 to also add Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph to their squad before the transfer window slams shut on Thursday night.

They also head Sky Bet's prices at 9/2 to sign Tottenham striker Vincent Jansson.

1050: Another done deal to report from the Premier League. Kevin Wimmer has joined Stoke from Tottenham.

Wimmer told Stoke's official website: "I had some really good conversations with the manager and they were important for me," he said.

"He is a very good manager and I like the way he approaches the game. His style of play suits the way I like to play too - he likes his defenders to be able to play out with the ball.

"I am just so happy to be at Stoke now because I really wanted to come here, to a club with such big tradition, so I feel really good and am very excited about meeting up with everybody and getting ready for the matches ahead."

1040: After disappearing from view earlier our Premier League done deals and rumours story is back in style.

Make sure you keep it bookmarked for all the latest done deals and rumours over the next three days. There's even some videos in there, including this one about how Southampton signed Wesley Hoedt last week from the Saints' YouTube page...

Behind the scenes: Wesley Hoedt's signing

1010: Here's Wales manager Chris Coleman on allowing players to leave his squad in order to complete transfers, mostly refers to free agent Joe Ledley.

"It's Joe's future and he could go and sign for this club or that club," Wales boss Coleman said.

"Twenty-four hours in football is a long time. Who's to say a club might say we've got a better offer now?

"I've had that as a manager myself. A player stalled, I waited and ended up with a better offer of a better player.

"If there's something there for you as a player, you have to go and take it.

"I wouldn't begrudge Joe travelling anywhere if it was for a move he wanted."

1000: We've got the verdicts of Soccer Saturday pundits Paul Merson, Matt Le Tissier, Phil Thompson and Charlie Nicholas on what the Premier League title contenders need from the rest of this transfer window - click here to read the full feature.

Here's Thompson on his former club Liverpool: "I still think Liverpool need a top centre-back and a striker to really challenge; two players who will really improve the starting line-up rather than squad players.

"That's what is going to make Philippe Coutinho and future players linked with top clubs stay, giving them proof that Liverpool have the ambition to win things rather than just settle for being in the Champions League.

"The club has made profits in the transfer market for the previous three windows and clearly are not short of money to turn down over £100million for Coutinho, so I'd like to see them go out and sign Virgil van Dijk and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to really make a statement."

0940: Let's bring you some of the stories that you many have missed from yesterday on Bank Holiday Monday.

  • West Brom have rejected a second bid from Leicester for defender Jonny Evans.
  • Kevin Wimmer is set to undergo a medical at Stoke ahead of his proposed move from Tottenham.
  • Ousmane Dembele has formally completed his £135.5million move to Barcelona.

0845: Here's the full story on Liverpool agreeing to sign Naby Keita.

Liverpool are still reported to be considering new additions in this transfer window.

Virgil van Dijk is odds-on at 1/2 with Sky Bet to join the Reds from Southampton and Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar is 11/8 to make the move to Anfield.

0830: Naby Keita has told Liverpool's website: "I am delighted that an agreement has been reached which will allow me to join Liverpool Football Club next summer, when I will become part of a project that excites me greatly.

"My commitment to RBL remains absolute for the remainder of my time at the club. I have given my all every time I have worn the shirt - that will be the case until the final whistle, in my final appearance.

"Having my future resolved means I can now focus on helping RBL achieve great things this season. Until I join my new club, next summer, I will remain an interested supporter from a distance."

0820: A big done deal to bring you early on today from Liverpool.

The Reds have agreed a deal for RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita to join the Merseyside club from July 1 next year.

Quotes to follow from the midfielder.

0740: The best place to start is always Paper Talk and what a Paper Talk it is.

Away from transfers, Frank de Boer is reportedly set to make an early exit from Crystal Palace and Sam Allardyce is to return. That would be a rather short break for Big Sam.

In transfer news, Chelsea are set to be busy. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Danny Drinkwater are tipped to join the Blues by the Daily Express in a £75million double swoop.

Will Virgil van Dijk finally join Liverpool?

The defender is odds-on at 8/15 with Sky Bet to complete a move to the Reds before the window slams shut and 6/4 to stay at Southampton.

0720: Good morning and welcome to Deadline Day Countdown, which it won't shock you to learn will act as a countdown to Deadline Day over the next couple of days. I'm Nick Hext kicking things off until 1500 BST today.

The summer transfer window will close in England at 2300 BST on Thursday night and hopefully we will be in for more entertainment than the one when Lee Cattermole nearly joined Stoke a few years ago.

There will be regular updates in the Deadline Day Countdown over the next couple of days before the fun and games really start on Thursday.
