Tebas promised football every day when discussing the possibility of LaLiga coming back, and true to his word the league will return with a bang with eight consecutive days of football consisting of the first two rounds of the restart.
That looks like being the norm right up until the scheduled new end of the season on July 19, with each team having 11 games to play over just 39 days.
“Two matchdays will be played over four days each," said Tebas. "That’s how it will work. We haven’t announced the rest of the matchday times because we’re waiting on temperature predictions."
The return of LaLiga starts on June 11 with the El Gran Derbi match between Sevilla and Real Betis, with league leaders Barcelona restarting the defence of their title against Real Mallorca on June 13.
Real Madrid are at home to Eibar on June 14 as they look to close the two-point gap they have on the leaders. In a quick turnaround, Barca then host Leganes on June 16 while Real face Valencia on June 18.
Games during the week will kick-off at 6.30pm and 9pm BST, while regular weekend kick-off times are ay 4pm, 6.30pm and 9pm, with an additional early kick-off at midday depending on the weather. These will mainly be in north areas if it's not too hot.
LaLiga have also announced that applause from fans across the world will be piped into stadiums and played out over the speaker in the 20th minute of each game to show support for health workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Supporters in the stands make football complete but now, due to reasons beyond their control, they won’t be able to be there," Tebas added. "We have created this initiative to help fans be a part of LaLiga’s return and also as an opportunity for them to show their support for the heroes of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We want them to feel close to their team, even if they cannot be in the stadiums cheering them on, and for players to feel the support of their fans."
