Harry Kane looked back to his best as he scored twice in a clinical 3-0 Tottenham win over struggling Leicester that left their Champions League hopes hanging by a thread.
Kane scored twice in three minutes, following an early James Justin own goal, as Jose Mourinho's improving squad won their fourth home game in a row to boost their Europa League hopes.
For Leicester, though, their slide continued and they're now only in fourth above Man Utd on goals scored with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side playing West Ham on Wednesday.
A win over the Hammers would mean the Red Devils would need just a point in their final-day showdown with Leicester to book their Champions League return - they may even be able to get away with a narrow defeat depending on goal difference.
For Spurs, the Europa League is the target and they look a much better side in recent weeks as Kane looks to be heading back to full fitness and as sharp as ever in front of goal.
It's now four goals in two games for Kane, who has notched 16 goals in 14 games against Leicester, making them his favourite opponent in his career.
Following the sixth-minute own goal, Spurs picked apart Leicester twice on the break, firtsly from a corner when Kane made a lung-busting burst to get on the end of the through ball and slot away expertly.
He then cut in from the left and curled in a beauty just inside the box three minutes later, and from there it was a classic Mourinho performance from his side.
Brendan Rodgers got some improvement from Leicester in the second half, but Hugo Lloris dealt with most of their attacks as the Foxes failed to even get a goal that would have helped what could be their crucial goal difference.
After letting what looked an automatic Champions League spot before the restart now looks in serious jeopardy as Leicester must now win against Man Utd to scrape in.
They have a slight hope that a point may be enough to sneak in at the expense of Chelsea, who would have to lose both games remaining against Liverpool and Wolves.
