With Manchester United unbeaten in 20 matches how can you not back them to reach the FA Cup final?

Frank Lampard's young Chelsea have been pretty impressive this season and spent almost every second of the Premier League campaign above United after being hammered 4-0 by them on the opening day, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are the division's in-form team.

Of course a cup tie brings a different dynamic and odds-wise the added complication of extra time, but there can be value in it.

In a 90-minute contest, given the current form of the two sides, there is no way you'd be able to get Manchester United to win and BTTS at 15/4 - a shade under 4/1 just feels like an enormous price.

The BTTS element feels sensible given that it's happened on an alternate basis for United since lockdown, and they've conceded twice on two occasions in their last four matches. It's also a 50/50 split for Chelsea in terms of both teams scoring over their past eight matches.

The Blues are renowned for attacking flair not defensive reliability, too.

I was frustrated with myself following Manchester United's quarter-final win over Norwich that despite being sure Odion Ighalo would score, I didn't back him.

It's quite incredible what he's done in cup games for the Red Devils since joining on loan in January and so this time I'm not making the same error.

Five goals from four starts in the FA Cup and Europa League is some return for a player the club was mocked for signing.

Ighalo anytime at 11/5 is good value. The score/win double is another tempting market, but personally I don't think it's a big enough price at 7/2 to worth adding an extra string to your bet.

Prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Chelsea (Sky Bet odds: 9/1)
