1720 🎆 BETTING SUCCESS
So let's review our tips today and what worked and what didn't, as we like to be honest here at Sporting Life. Remember we are the only sports website that has a clear tipping record to show how we are truly performing.
Previews
- We tipped Marcus Rashford to score and win in Manchester United v Brighton at 6/4
- Pascal Gross to have a 1+ shots on target in the Manchester United v Brighton game at 13/8
- Our Premier League Vitals tipped over 2.5 goals and 11+ match corners at 5/2 between Southampton and Everton
In Play
- We advised Mane to score anytime at 13/10 for Liverpool due to the fact he'd scored in his last three games against Palace.
- At 1-0 down we called Salah to score the next goal at 3/1
- We said Southampton were getting close to scoring and recommended them to score the opening goal at 11/8.
- We backed Pogba to score anytime at 7/5 as he’d directly been involved in 53% of United's 15 Premier League goals since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge.
Sporting Life ACCA
Sadly for the second week in a row we got 3 out of 4 of our winners. We backed Derby, Wednesday, Gillingham and Charlton to win. Annoyingly close again, although to be fair Gillingham were hammered
- Derby 2-1 Reading
- Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 Wigan
- Gillingham 0-3 Walsall
- Charlton 1-0 Accrington
1715 TRANSFER MARKET

As you'd expect today has been quiet for signings, but there's still plenty of rumour around
For the latest completed deals and all the rumour and gossip then follow our live Transfer Market Blog, live everyday throughout January.
1713 - Swansea v Sheffield United
In the Sky Bet Championship's late kick off we are going for
Oli Norwood to score from outside the penalty area at 14/1
Sheffield United to win and over 2.5 goals in the game at 3/1
1710 - Arsenal v Chelsea
Looking ahead to the 5.30 kick off....
We are going for Chelsea to win at 13/10
Chelsea have not been great but they've been good enough to sit six points above the Gunners in the table, they've also mainly struggled to break defensive teams down and this Arsenal side have produced fewer clean sheets than anyone bar Fulham in the Premier League. It's a decent enough price to be interested in.
1706 📈 TABLE MOVERS
Premier League
After the drama at Anfield Liverpool are now seven points clear of Manchester City, who play their game in hand tomorrow at Huddersfield Town.
Manchester United are now three points off fourth place Chelsea and four behind Spurs, who are both still to play this weekend.
Wolves are up to ninth and go above Leicester after beating them 4-3 at lunch time.
At the bottom Newcastle are out of the relegation zone after their win over Cardiff, who drop into it.
Managerless Huddersfield are now 10 from safety
Sky Bet Championship
Leeds United's lead is cut to one point after they lost at Stoke today and Norwich won last night. They will be hoping Sheffield United and WBA lose this weekend to keep their four point gap from the play off places.
Boro's late point moves them to six from the automatic promotion places, but it's a big two points dropped for them,
Derby are sixth on 46 points, Bristol City's five straight wins have them a place and two points behind the Rams.
What about Hull making the play-offs? They are six off it.
At the foot are still Ipswich - seven from safety. Bolton and Reading remain in it, but Rotherham losing again today keeps them fourth bottom and two above the drop zone.
1700 AND RELAX
Ok, so how did your team do today and how did you bets go?
Stay with us, because still to come we will preview Arsenal v Chelsea, which kicks off at 5.30; and look at how the Premier League and Sky Bet EFL Leagues are looking after today's results.
We'll also reflect on how our tips did

1654 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Liverpool 4-3 Palace
One back for Palace
1651 🎆 BETTING SUCCESS
He left it late but Mane brings another home for us, as we backed him to score anytime at 13/10 due to the fact he'd scored in his last three games against Palace

1650 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Southampton 2-1 Everton - Sigurdsson
Everton give themselves a late life line, but surely too late
Liverpool 4-2 Palace - Mane
The leaders finally seal the win - they've been made to work hard for this one
Newcastle 3-0 Cardiff
1649 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Bournemouth 2-0 West Ham
Bournemouth have totally dominated in the second half and have finally sealed the win
1648 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Stoke 2-0 Leeds
QPR 1-4 Preston
1646 FEELING SMUG
There is still a lot of football to play this season, but I'm getting smugger as a tipped Bristol City to make the Sky Bet Championship playoffs this season.
For most the campaign I've looked at idiot - not for the first time in my life - but now they are flying and they are just a place and two points off the top six!
1644 📸 ACTION SHOT

1642 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Rotherham 2-4 Brentford
QPR 1-3 Preston
1639 ⚽️ SPORTING LIFE ACCA
We admit the ACCA is over as Gillingham are being hammered. It's a shame, with two others winning.
- Derby 2-1 Reading
- Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 Wigan
- Gillingham 0-3 Walsall
- Charlton 0-0 Accrington
1636 🔴 RED CARD
Bad to worse for Leeds United, down to 10 men as centre back Jansson is sent off for a second yellow
Stoke to score next and go 2-0 up is 11/4.
Equally, Leeds have proved this season that they can score goals with 10 men and late goals too - so if you fancy an equaliser then they are 4/1 to score next and 1-1 as a final score is 5/1
1633 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Liverpool 3-2 Palace - Salah
Poor Speroni, the third choice keeper back into action and the oldest player in the league makes an error to allow Salah to score again
Blackburn 2-0 Ipswich
Rotherham 2-3 Brentford
1631 🔍 IN PLAY ADVICE
This might seem a left field one, but it has caught my eye.
Luton are leading Peterborough 4-0 and the Posh are down to 10 men. But for Luton to win and both teams to score is at 3/1.
Peterborough have scored 47 goals this season and three shots in this game.
It might not happen, but we just need a Peterborough goal, so worth a punt.
1625 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Aston Villa 2-2 Hull City
Villa complete the comeback from 2-0 down, as Abraham scores again
Nottingham Forest 0-1 Bristol City
This might not be a good start to his reign at Forest for Martin O'Neill, but for City their great form could be continuing
1622 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Liverpool 2-2 Palace - Tomkins
Would you believe it. Liverpool have been pushing for the third, but it's Palace that level it up
Southampton 2-0 Everton - Digne OG
Newcastle United 2-0 Cardiff - Schar
Newcastle are rewarded for good sportsmanship here. Rondon was through on goal, but only because of an injury to a Cardiff player. So he stopped and kicked the ball out of play. Minutes later Newcastle go 2-0 up.
1619 🔍 IN PLAY ADVICE
So the only 0-0 in the Premier League now is between Watford and Burnley. But it's not been a boring game and both teams should have scored by now.
Watford have had four shots on target and three off; Burnley are 2 on target and 6 off.
So to back a goal in this then Watford to win 1-0 is 10/3.
To get the first goal Watford are 11/8; Burnley 5/2.
1617 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Scunthorpe 0-1 Sunderland
That's now 35 games in a row Sunderland have scored in!
1615 📸 ACTION SHOT

1612 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Liverpool 2-1 Palace - Firmino
Great turnaround from Liverpool and they are smashing Palace now. There could be more goals to come by the sounds of it.
Bournemouth 1-0 West Ham - Wilson
The England man is back from injury and scoring again
1609 🎆 BETTING SUCCESS
Just before half time we said Southampton were getting close to scoring and recommended them to score the opening goal at 11/8.

1607 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Stoke 1-0 Leeds
The Sky Bet Championship leaders are losing, as Nathan Jones looks for his first win as Stoke boss
Southampton 1-0 Everton - Ward-Prowse
Manchester United 2-1 Brighton
1606 🎆 BETTING SUCCESS
We reckoned Salah to score the next goal at 3/1 was worth a shout. We hope you listened.

1604 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Liverpool 1-1 Palace - Salah
Well that didn't take long. Salah scores a beauty. He now needs just one more goal to become the first Egyptian to score 50 in the Premier League.
1602 📸 ACTION SHOT

1559 🔍 IN PLAY ADVICE
Manchester United are well in control against Brighton and Paul Pogba is running the show. He's already scored once and has has had FIVE shots in this game in total,
1558 📸 ACTION SHOT

1556 🚨 SKY BET PRICE BOOST
They are dominating possession, have had more corners and recorded more shots - but are losing, so can Liverpool turn it around?
You can back the hosts to win 2-1 at a Price Boosted 7/2, while Mo Salah is available at 3/1 to score the game's next goal and we think that's a really good shout to go for!

Right, how are we doing with this..
- Derby 2-0 Reading
- Sheffield Wednesday 0-0 Wigan

As long as Brighton don't come back, then he's nailed it.

1544 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Manchester United 2-0 Brighton - Rashford
Rashford, on his 150th appearance for Manchester United, doubles the lead
1542 🔍 IN PLAY ADVICE
Southampton are getting so close to scoring against Everton. Pickford has made a good save and they've also hit the post twice. They are 11/8 to get the opening goal.
Danny Ings to score the 1st goal is now 11/2 and he has had two shots on target
1540 📸 ACTION SHOT

1536 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Aston Villa 0-2 Hull
What a season Hull are having under Nigel Adkins. It's incredible. They are above Villa in the league too, you'd have got good money on that as the start of the season
1535 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Liverpool 0-1 Palace - Townsend
Would you believe it, Liverpool have been dominating and van Dijk should have just scored. But Palace have dug in and now Townsend has put them ahead. He's now scored against Manchester City and Liverpool this season - he's loves a bit game.
1529 🎆 BETTING SUCCESS

Pre match we advised you to back Pogba to score any time at 7/5 as he’d directly been involved in 53% of United's 15 Premier League goals since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge, with four goals and four assists.
1527 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Manchester United 1-0 Brighton - Pogba Pen
Pogba is fouled for the penalty and gets up and coolly rolls it into the corner
1525 GOAL DISALLOWED
Bournemouth thought they'd taken the lead against West Ham, but it is cancelled out. Wilson scored on his return from injury, but it is ruled offside, he may well have been on though
1524 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Newcastle 1-0 Cardiff - Schar
Schar scores his first goal for Newcastle
1522 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Middlesbrough 0-1 Millwall
Wallace puts the visitors ahead
Rotherham 1-1 Brentford
Taylor gets the equaliser for the Millers
1518 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Wimbledon 0-1 Barnsley
Cauley Woodrow has put the visitors ahead. It's been a good week for the former Fulham player, who won the Sky Bet League One Goal of the Month for December this week too.
I meant him this week to discuss that and he was a really nice lad and did you know he is best mates with Tottenham's Harry Winks, and knows Harry Kane
1516 🌩 GOAL FLASH
QPR 0-1 Preston
Stockley, the new boy signed from Exeter, has got the goal for the visitors.
1514 🎤 INTERVIEW
It's a bit boring at the moment, so let's have a video interview
Friday saw the Sky Bet EFL Goal of the Month for December Awards handed out. Lucas Joao won the Sky Bet Championship one for his strike for Sheffield Wednesday at Blackburn on December 1.
He's on the bench today, having not featured since Boxing Day due to injury.
1507 🌩 GOAL FLASH
I was joking about not having many goals in the Premier League 3pm games, but it's a slow start in the top flight.
That's not the case in Sky Bet League One:
Bradford 0-1 Southend
Doncaster 0-1 Burton
Gillingham 0-1 Walsall
Luton 1-0 Peterborough
1505 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Derby 1-0 Reading
Holmes puts Frank Lampard's side ahead
1503 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Rotherham 0-1 Brentford
The first 3pm goal of the day goes in in the Sky Bet Championship
1500 🕒 KICK OFF
I'm a bit worried that my fingers might drop off, if the 3pm games deliver as many goals and as much drama as the early kick off. But I'll battle on if that happens.

The Sky Bet League Two leaders get back to winning ways
1455 PREMIER LEAGUE VITALS TIP
More and more football and football betting is coming down to statistics and detailed scouting – just as Leeds United’s coach Marcelo Bielsa about that!
So to aid you, we have Premier League Vitals – which roundup all the key stats, like cards, corners, goals, shot for every top flight team.
From that data, this week we are tipping:
Southampton v Everton - Over 2.5 goals and 11+ match corners: 5/2
Everton's last four matches have each produced 11 or more corners, while Southampton have seen two of their last three reach the same figure. Ralph Hasenhuttl’s last six games in charge have seen three or more goals go in on five occasions, which points towards a high goal and corner count in this one. Both sides are the same price with Sky Bet to get the three points, and it makes sense to look beyond the match result.
1452 📊 STATS - IN PLAY ADVICE: Watford v Burnley

Our final stat in play advice is in.... Watford are aiming do the league double over Burnley for the first time since 2002-03 in the second tier, having won the reverse fixture 3-1 at Turf Moor.
None of the previous 19 league meetings have ended goalless between these two, so going over 2.5 goals is 4/58/11. Over 3.5 is 7/4.
Also consider Burnley have lost all seven Premier League matches this season versus teams in the top seven, by an aggregate score of 21-3. Watford are currently seventh. So backing a home win looks favourable, despite Burnley’s improvement.
1449 🔍 PREMIER LEAGUE PRE GAME TIPS
George Pitts' final tip from his pre game planning is....
Felipe Anderson to score anytime in Bournemouth v West Ham at 5/2
The crafty playmaker is due a goal, has had seven shots in his last two away appearances in the Premier League and half of his eight goals in a West Ham shirt have come away from home.
1448 🎤 INTERVIEW

1445 📊 STATS - IN PLAY ADVICE: Southampton v Everton

Everton are looking to do the league double over Southampton for the first time since 2001-02. However they’ve only won three of their last 19 league matches at Southampton.
Ademola Lookman has scored three goals and assisted four in his last six league starts, he is 7/2 to score anytime.
Theo Walcott has scored five goals in his past three appearances against Southampton and is also 7/2 to score anytime
1442 SEEING DOUBLE
We could have twin taking on twin this afternoon if Jacob (Newcastle) and Josh (Cardiff) come off their respective benches today.
They would be the second twins to come up against each other in the Premier League. The first ones to do so were Michael and Will Keane, who came up against one another in the game between Burnley and Hull City in 2016.
1439 📊 STATS - IN PLAY ADVICE: Newcastle v Cardiff
Cardiff have lost 17 of their last 18 away league games against Newcastle, including nine in a row since a 4-0 victory in November 1963. To add to that, City boss Neil Warnock is winless in 10 competitive matches as a manager against Newcastle since Sheffield United's 1-0 Premier League victory at St James' Park in November 2006.
So Newcastle are 2/1 to win.
Don’t expect many goals either - Newcastle have scored just five goals in five games that period, and not more than once in any of those games. Cardiff have failed to score in 10 of their 22 Premier League matches, so 0-0 is 15/2 and under 1.5 goals is 7/4.
1437 GROUP BETS

1435 📊 STATS - IN PLAY ADVICE: Man Utd v Brighton

United have never lost at home to Brighton in 10 games, and won the last four. United are also looking to score three or more goals in four consecutive home games for the first time since September 2011
For Brighton, they have lost a Premier League-high 19 away games since the start of last season, while boss Chris Hughton has lost all five away matches as a manager against Manchester United by an aggregate score line of 0-14.
So United to win in a group bet of 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 is 10/3.
Pogba is score any time is 7/5 and he’s directly involved in 53% of United's 15 Premier League goals since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge, with four goals and four assists.

1429 📊 STATS - IN PLAY ADVICE: Liverpool v Crystal Palace

The form, stats and league positioning point to a Liverpool win, but they also show that Palace are a thorn in the side of the league leaders.
Liverpool are on a 31-match unbeaten league run at Anfield since losing to Crystal Palace in April 2017. Before losing at Anfield last season, Palace had won their last three at the famous ground.
Looking at players, Sadio Mane has scored in three successive Premier League games against Crystal Palace and has six goals against them in total, more than versus any other side in the competition.
He is 13/10 to score anytime, 4/1 to score two or more and 4/1 to score first
1427 📊 STATS - IN PLAY ADVICE: Bournemouth v West Ham
You’d expect goals in this game looking at the stats, as there have been 28 goals in the seven previous Premier League encounters between these two - four goals per game on average.
Bournemouth have conceded a league-high 103 goals since the start of last season. West Ham are next on the list with 100.
The Hammers have also scored in all 12 previous meetings with Bournemouth
1425 ⚽️ SPORTING LIFE ACCA
We were left frustrated last Saturday, as our EFL ACCA was denied by Preston’s draw, leaving us with three wins and one draw – so close!! So let’s hope for better luck today
We are backing Derby, Sheffield Wednesday, Gillingham and Charlton at 20/1 with Sky Bet to win today.
There's still time to back it by clicking the link above
Derby (to beat Reading)
The only doubt surrounding Derby is energy levels after they came back from 2-0 down to beat Southampton on penalties in midweek but victories like that can only fuel confidence as they eye three points to thrust them right back into the thick of the automatic promotion hunt.
Sheffield Wednesday (to beat Wigan)
Sheffield Wednesday may well languish in mid-table obscurity at the moment but a win will be needed over lowly Wigan just to stave off any concerns about being dragged into a dog fight. The Latics are one of the worst travelling sides in the Championship with just five points from 13 games and they haven't won any of their last eight on the road.
Gillingham (to beat Walsall)
"How can 17th-placed Gillingham be in the Acca, they've only won one of their last four league games," we hear you yell. That is true, but on Saturday they face a crucial clash in the fight to pull away from the drop zone against 16th placed Walsall, who are sinking like a stone and have only managed to take four points from their last eight road matches.
Charlton (to beat Accrington)
This is one of the 'safer' picks of the four, with promotion-chasing Charlton backed to go four games unbeaten with a win over an Accrington side who are short of form, poor away and showing no signs that panic buttons have yet been pressed.
1422 ⌛️ FULL TIME
Wolves 4-3 Leicester
An incredible game, that had everything. Wolves lead 2-0, pulled back to 2-2, then 3-2 ahead, to 3-3 as Morgan levelled for Leicester. But Wolves always looked stronger in defence and more clinical in attack and that was the difference in the end and a deserved win.

1419 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Wolves 4-3 Leicester - Jota
Jota surely has won it on 92 minutes as he completes his hat trick. There might have been an offside in the build up, but against Leicester's defending is not good. Puel under pressure again and will remain the favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job.
1417 📊 STAT TIME
Here's some more interesting stats and fact for the remaining three Premier League 3pm games.
Newcastle v Cardiff
- A Newcastle defeat on Saturday would equal the club's worst record after 23 matches of a top-flight season, set in 1966-67 and 1988-89 (W4, D6, L13).
- Newcastle's tally of eight home league defeats this season is the equal highest in England's top four divisions.
- The Bluebirds are attempting to win back-to-back away games in the top flight for the first time since February 1957.
Southampton v Everton
- Ralph Hasenhuttl has won three of his seven Premier League games, the same number of top-flight victories managed by Southampton in 10 months under Mark Hughes.
- However, Southampton could equal the club top-flight record of three consecutive home defeats.
- Everton Left-back Lucas Digne has provided 102 crosses in the Premier League - at least 21 more than any other defender this season.
Watford v Burnley
- Watford are aiming do the league double over Burnley for the first time since 2002-03 in the second tier, having won the reverse fixture 3-1 at Turf Moor.
- Burnley can win back-to-back league fixtures at Vicarage Road for the first time in 17 years.
- The Hornets have been equally effective home and away in the Premier League, earning 16 points at Vicarage Road and as many on the road.
- The Clarets can win their first three top-flight games in a calendar year for the first time since 1958.

The Scot has four bookings to his name this season and is due another. The Eagles man can expect a busy afternoon in the centre of midfield against a dangerous, interchanging attack. He averages 1.5 fouls per game and should be in store for a busy afternoon at Anfield and is the preferred bet for this one.

1350 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Wolves 3-2 Leicester - Jota
A great counterattack from Wolves. They clear the ball from their own box and Neves delivers an incredible long range pass that finds Jota. It's bad defending at Evans (I told you) keeps him on side, but then Morgan can't get to him and he fires home
1345 📊 STAT TIME
Let's just take a breath from the action in a great game at Molineux to look ahead to the Premier League's 3pm games. We will have team news from all at 2, but I love a stat, so here's some of the best for these matches...
Liverpool v Crystal Palace
- Liverpool are on a 31-match unbeaten league run at Anfield since losing to Crystal Palace in April 2017. It's their joint longest top-flight streak since a club record 63 home games without defeat between February 1978 and December 1980.
- Jürgen Klopp's side have the second best defensive record of all time after 22 matches of an English top-flight season, conceding just 10 goals. Chelsea conceded eight in 2004-05.
- Palace Boss Roy Hodgson is unbeaten in all four Premier League fixtures as a visiting manager at Anfield, with three goalless draws and a 1-0 victory with West Brom in April 2012.
Bournemouth v West Ham
- No player has been booked more this term than Bournemouth's Jefferson Lerma, who has accrued nine yellow cards.
- Since the start of last season, Marko Arnautovic has contributed to 26 league goals (18 goals, eight assists) - double that of any Hammers team-mate.
Manchester United v Brighton
- Ole Gunnar Solskjær could equal the longest Premier League winning streak by a manager from the beginning of his reign at a club: six by Carlo Ancelotti for Chelsea in 2009 and Pep Guardiola for Manchester City in 2016.
- Glenn Murray has gone seven Premier League appearances without a goal, his longest barren run for Brighton in the division.
- Chris Hughton has lost all five away matches as a manager against Manchester United by an aggregate scoreline of 0-14.

1341 🔍 IN PLAY ADVICE
Will lightning strike twice - Leicester are now 15/8 to score the next goal (goal number five of the game) and it is still all them.
However I'm not a fan of Evans, and he's come on for the injured Maguire, so that Leicester defence looks weaker now. Wolves are 6/4 to score next
1339 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Wolves 2-2 Leicester - Barnes
And there it is. We said it was all Leicester and Barnes had just had one chance. Now he's scored the equaliser as he starts his first game since returning on loan from WBA.
1335 🔍 IN PLAY ADVICE
Now Harvey Barnes has just forced a fine save from the Wolves keeper. The hosts just cannot keep the ball at the moment and it's all Leicester.
Leicester to get the next goal is 6/4.
1333 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Wolves 2-1 Leicester - Gray
What a goal this is, Vardy feeds Gray on the half way line, he dribbles all the way to the area, hurdles a challenge in the box and fires across goal to put the visitors back in this one.
The bad news for Leicester is that England defender Harry Mcguire has had to go off injured two minutes into the second period.
1330 🚨 SKY BET PRICE BOOST
With Wolves 2-0 up at the break, Sky Bet have Price Boosted the following:
- Correct Score - Draw 2-2 is NOW 11/1
- Raul Jimenez to score the 3rd goal is 7/1
- Jamie Vardy to score the 3rd goal is 5/1
1325 🔍 IN PLAY ADVICE

Watching this game at Molineux it has really got fierce in the final 10 minutes, with some big and bad challenges going in.
The game is open, both sides going for it, and Leicester are clearly frustrated, so there are lots of 50/50 balls, poor touches and heavy tackles. We've had four yellow cards, two apiece and 14 fouls - 7 apiece.
Yes, things could calm down at half time, but if this keeps up then backing a red card at 7/2 with Sky Bet could be worth a go.

1319 🌩 GOAL FLASH
Lincoln City 1-0 Grimsby Town
In Sky Bet League Two, the leaders Lincoln are 1-0 up, despite having two players suspended for this game, following finish the 2-2 with Swindon a week ago with nine men.
1318 ⏳ HALF TIME
Wolves 2-0 Leicester
A really good game this, with attacks on top. Wolves are 2-0 up, should have scored four had it not been for a fantastic save from Kasper Schmeichel in the early stages, then a bad miss later on from what was literally a tap in.
Leicester have had their chances, and forced three decent saves from Patricio and a few chances wide too.
1314 🔍 PREMIER LEAGUE PRE GAME TIPS
George Pitts is with me for today’s blog and has been running the rule over today’s Premier League tips. Here’s his first one:
Marcus Rashford to score and win in Manchester United v Brighton at 6/4
One man Solskjaer is getting the best out of is Marcus Rashford, who has been trusted in the number nine role. The England man has four goals in his last six appearances, including in the win at Spurs last week, and finally looks to be fulfilling his potential.

1303 MATCH UPDATE

Wolves 2-0 Leicester City
It’s been a cracking first 30 minutes in this early kick off and the real question is how we’ve seen just two goals.
Schmeichel made a brilliant save in the first few minutes, before Jota put the hosts ahead.
Leicester almost levelled immediately after Patricio messed up a back pass and was caught out by Vardy. However the keeper recovered to stop the tap in. Finally Bennett from a corner headed in, raising above Maguire to double the lead.
Since then it’s been all Leicester, with Patricio making two decent saves from shots from the edge of the box. But then Wolves have just missed a tap in too.
Leicester Boss Puel was the favourite to be the next manager sacked in the Premier League at 1/3. This result will not help his position.
