There have been some shocks across Europe this weekend. Tom Carnduff recaps five results you may have missed...
Frankfurt 5-1 Bayern Munich
We'll start in the Bundesliga, where Bayern were hammered by Frankfurt.
There was a major upset when Frankfurt secured success in the 2018 DFB Pokal final with victory over Bayern, but this game surely surpasses that.
The defending German champions were dealt a huge blow when Jerome Boateng was shown a straight red just nine minutes into the contest.
Frankfurt capitalised with two goals in eight minutes, although Robert Lewandowski gave Munich hope before the break.
The home side went on the ascendancy with a storming second-half performance as goals from David Abraham, Martin Hinteregger and Goncalo Paciencia wrapped up the 5-1 win.
The result lead to Niko Kovac's sacking as head coach of the Bavarian side; Ralf Rangnick and Erik ten Hag have been reported to be contenders to replace him.
RB Leipzig 8-0 Mainz
Leipzig face a trip to Zenit in midweek for their latest Champions League encounter - and they couldn't have prepared in better fashion.
A hat-trick from Timo Werner helped them secure a remarkable 8-0 victory over Mainz in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
Marcel Sabitzer, Christopher Nkunku, Marcel Halstenberg, Yussuf Poulsen and Nordi Mukiele also got onto the scoresheet.
That smashed their club record for biggest margin of victory, beating the previous marker of 8-2 against SV Wilhelmshaven during the 2011–12 Regionalliga season.
What makes the result even better is the fact that Leipzig were enduring a four-game winless run prior to Saturday. A pretty impressive way to snap that streak.
Levante 3-1 Barcelona
Over to Spain where Barcelona were heavy odds-on favourites to beat Levante in their LaLiga contest.
They looked on their way to doing just that when Lionel Messi scored a penalty in the 38th minute to give Barca a 1-0 lead at the break.
However, Levante bounced back and scored three goals in seven second-half minutes to stun their opponents and bring an abrupt end to their seven game winning run in all competitions.
One positive for Barca in the fact that Real Madrid failed to capitalise as they were held at home by Betis, although Real Sociedad's 2-1 win over fellow high-fliers Granada moved them level on points with the two Spanish giants.
Dijon 2-1 PSG
Another league, another shock and this one comes from Ligue 1 where PSG were stunned by Dijon.
PSG, like Barcelona, were heavy odds-on favourites for the contest and took the lead in the first-half as Kylian Mbappe struck in the 19th minute.
In the 6th minute of added time though, Mounir Chouiar found the net to put the hosts firmly back into the game.
Minutes into the second-half, Dijon had the lead through Jhonder Cadiz - although PSG would have been fancied to come back and get something from the game with over 40 minutes remaining.
The equaliser never came and PSG's six-game winning run was ended by a side who were bottom of the league heading into the weekend.
Tonbridge 4-4 Oxford City
We'll finish in England where Tonbridge's 4-4 draw with Oxford City in the National League South provided remarkable levels of entertainment.
Goals from Zac McEachran and Reece Fleet gave Oxford a 2-0 lead at half-time, although Tom Derry cut the deficit shortly after the game resumed.
D'Sean Theobalds' penalty in the 56th minute drew the hosts level, and Joe Turner's strike in the 85th minute looked like it could be the match winner.
Oxford would bounce back though. Stefan Brown hit an equaliser in the 87th minute before going onto score another three minutes later.
With victory seemingly heading to the visitors, Turner popped up again moments later to draw the game level and ensure the points were shared in a high-scoring contest at the Longmead Stadium.
