AFC Bournemouth v Manchester United (1945 BST, BT Sport 1)

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has made it clear that changes are on the way to his starting line-up against Bournemouth on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at home to bottom-of-the-table West Brom on Sunday and that loss confirmed Manchester City as Premier League champions.

City's title success arrived slightly earlier than expected and Mourinho has responded by putting the pressure on all of his squad to make their case for a spot in the team for Saturday's FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham at Wembley.

"If I play a player against Bournemouth and the player is phenomenal, he plays the semi-final," Mourinho said ahead of the trip south to the Vitality Stadium.

"The word is not rotation (for the expected changes against Bournemouth), it is an opportunity for people, for some people to play and to try to get a place in the team for Spurs - and some of the guys that played (against West Brom), they don't have a place in that team."

Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Scott McTominay are among the players in with an opportunity to start. Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez are set to drop out of the first XI after recent struggles.

I'm expecting a three-point haul for United after bouncing back from their five previous Premier League defeats this season with victory in their next outing.

The Red Devils haven't fallen to back-to-back defeats since suffering three losses in a row against Manchester City, Feyenoord and Watford back in September 2016.

It's no surprise that Mourinho's men are odds-on across the board to get the win but I reckon there's a way to make a profit by going for goals in the second half.

Bournemouth's strength is going forward and they've managed at least two goals in seven of their previous eight home matches.

Eleven of the last 12 goals for the Cherries on their own turf have come in the second half of matches and it must also be noted that United's previous 10 goals on the road have come after the break, including all of their goals in the back-to-back 3-2 away wins against Crystal Palace and Manchester City.

Odds-against for the most goals to be scored in the second half is well worth a look but I'm going to be more adventurous and take just over 3/1 for three or more goals to be netted following half-time.

This has been a winner in both of United's last two matches on the road and all of Bournemouth's previous three games with home advantage.

Callum Wilson's return to the Bournemouth starting line-up means the Red Devils' defence is in for a tough evening, especially if they fail to respond from Sunday's dismal showing against the Baggies.

I reckon Mourinho will have United primed to bounce back and this is a midweek encounter that is well worth a watch.

Prediction: Bournemouth 1-3 Manchester United (Sky Bet's odds: 12/1)

Best bet: Over 2.5 goals in the second half at 31/10

Alternative bet: Most goals to be scored in the second half at 11/10
