Arsenal’s defeat in the North London Derby has seen Mikel Arteta cut as short as 3/1 in the next Premier League manager to leave market.
Only a week ago, in the aftermath of a disappointing 2-1 loss to Wolves, the Spaniard remained at 40/1 in the sack race betting.
He still trails Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder (7/4) who unsurprisingly leads the way after presiding over what is the worst start in Premier League history, with the Blades on one point after 11 games.
But there is nothing to split Arteta and West Brom's Slaven Bilic, with different bookies favouring one over the other.
Premier League sack race odds
- Chris Wilder - 7/4
- Slaven Bilic - 3/1
- Mikel Arteta - 9/2
- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - 9/2

Arsenal have now won just one of their last seven matches and sit 15th in the table - their worst start since 1981.
The Gunners were not outplayed at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, enjoying the majority of the ball, however they rarely looked like getting back into the game as Spurs coasted to a 2-0 win.
They have now scored just 10 league goals in 11 matches this season but Arteta has insisted he isn't panicking.
“We created enough situations to score goals and they will come," he said.
“Very simply, we need to score goals. It is not sustainable. It doesn’t matter what we do in other departments if we don’t score, we need to put the ball into the net urgently. At the moment it looks like we need a lot to score a goal.
“In terms of the performance, they did everything that I asked them to do. We played the way we had to play this game. All the stats are in our favour, at the end of the day it is about putting the ball in the back of the net.”
“But I saw a team, I saw my team full of desire, passion, dominating the game, creating all the chances, all the situations, but in the end it is about the end product and this is why they are first in the table."
