The full results and round-ups from the 2020 bwin World Series of Darts Finals, which took place in Salzburg, Austria from September 18-20.
Televised darts returned with a live crowd in attendance for the first time since March as 24 players from 12 different countries headed to the Salzburgarena for the sixth staging of the World Series of Darts Finals.
Defending champion Michael van Gerwen was favourite to win the title for the fifth time despite his recent lack of consistency and after he crashed out at the first hurdle to Glen Durrant, it was Gerwyn Price who came through the field to land the third TV title of his career and a top prize of £70,000.
It was also the two-time Grand Slam of Darts champion's third tournament success in a row following his back-to-back wins at the Autumn Series and he had to defeat Vincent Van der Voort, Nathan Aspinall, Peter Wright and Rob Cross to do it.
History-maker Fallon Sherrock - who was initially due to compete on the World Series circuit in New York, Copenhagen, Australia and New Zealand this year only for them all to be postponed due to the coronavirus - was in the field but agonisingly lost to Jeff Smith in the first round having led 5-1.
