Gary Anderson had strong words for bad losers in darts as he discussed his 'win win' mindset ahead of the usual hectic winter of major tournaments.
Gary Anderson headed into 2018 as an undisputed great of the game thanks to his two world titles, two Premier League crowns, over 40 other tournament wins & an electric style of play that thrills the fans and strikes fear into every opponent he's ever faced.
However, there were some notable trophies not in in the 47-year-old's cabinet - the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts, UK Open and also the much newer Champions League of Darts.
But like a man on a mission in a race against father time, the Flying Scotsman scooped up the UK Open in March before spectacularly landing his maiden World Matchplay in Blackpool as he became only the third player behind Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen to complete the Triple Crown, which also consists of the World Championship & Premier League.
A maiden Champions League of Darts crown followed in Brighton this September and now he turns his focus towards the World Grand Prix and Grand Slam of Darts...not to mention the season-ending drama at the Ally Pally!
Here you can watch three clips from our interview with Anderson following his triumph at the Champions League of Darts, covering themes such as bad losers, his 'win win' mindset, a hectic winter, the difficulties of the 'double start format' and his main targets ahead.
