UK Open 2017: Draw, TV schedule, results & odds

The full results from the 2017 UK Open, which took place at the Butlins Minehead Resort from March 3-5.

The 2017 Coral UK Open Finals - widely dubbed the 'FA Cup of Darts' - has concluded, with Peter Wright claiming the first major televised title of his career at the Butlins Minehead Resort in Somerset from March 3-5.

In the absence of the injured Michael van Gerwen, a total field of 127 players competed in the prestigious ITV4-televised tournament (March 3-4), including the top 96 from the final UK Open Order of Merit following the six qualifying events held in Wigan in February as well as 32 Rileys Amateur Qualifiers who won through knockouts held in Rileys Sports Bars across the nation.

The likes of Gary Anderson and Peter Wright were among the top 32 players from the Order of Merit who entered at the third round stage on Friday night while those ranked 33-64 came in at the second round. The opening round consisted of those ranked 65-96 and the Rileys Amateur Qualifiers.

But there was no Phil Taylor after the five-time champion opted to miss the qualifying events as he scales down his tournaments ahead of retiring.

The draws for each round were made at random and there are no seedings.

Here, you can look back at how the tournament unfolded with all the results and links to each day's review. We also have details of the tournament format, the UK Open Order of Merit, and a history section complete with past winners and records.

UK Open Darts History

The UK Open is also one of the biggest events on the darts calendar as 128 players compete in an elimination format which can cause many shocks. With no seedings and a random draw made after every round, the UK Open has earned the nickname of "the FA Cup of darts" ever since the event's debut in 2003 when it was held at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton. Phil Taylor beat Shayne Burgess in the first final and although the dominant 'Power' has claimed the most titles with five, there has been a wide range of winners including Roland Scholten (2004), Raymond van Barneveld (2006 & 2007), James Wade (2008 & 2011), Robert Thornton (2012), Adrian Lewis (2014) and Michael van Gerwen (2015, 2016).
