A review of the action on the fifth day of the PDC World Darts Championship as 63-year-old Paul Lim books a clash against Gary Anderson.
Paul Lim won two matches at Alexandra Palace on Monday night to book a clash against third seed Gary Anderson in the second round of the PDC World Darts Championship.
Kai Fan Leung was defeated 2-0 in 63-year-old Lim's clash in the preliminary round and that set up a meeting with former BDO world champion Mark Webster in the final contest of the evening.
Lim is most famous for hitting the first nine-dart finish at the World Championship in 1990 and he made more headlines when defeating 30th seed Webster 27 years later.
Webster kept his composure to take the match to a deciding set after Lim missed his first chance at double 15 to book his place in the second round.
The decider was all about Lim as he won to nil with ease, including an impressive 114 checkout in the second leg.
Sky Bet put Lim all the way out at 500/1 to win the tournament.
Lim told Sky Sports: "Itβs unbelievable. The PDC World Championship is the cream of all the darts tournaments and to be part of it is an honour.
"Itβs tough, Iβm running out of stamina," he added before waving to the crowd as they danced to Gala's 1996 hit Freed From Desire.

Mensur Suljovic had to overcome Kevin Painter and a troublesome wasp as he won 3-0 in his opening match of the PDC World Darts Championship.
Fifth seed Suljovic eased to a 2-0 lead against Painter before a wasp landed on his shirt when faced with double three to win the first leg of the third set.
The Austrian looked somewhat bemused by his unexpected adversary but maintained his composure to flick the wasp away and hit the double three needed for the leg.
Suljovic celebrated by pointing to Alexandra Palace's most famous wasp, who didn't return to the stage.
Painter pushed Suljovic at the conclusion of the third set but the fifth seed got the job done and now faces Robert Thornton in the second round on Friday.
Sky Bet make Suljovic a 40/1 chance to take the title.
Suljovic was quoted on pdc.tv as saying: "Kevin beat me before and I told him on the stage that's 1-1 now so it's a good feeling, it's brilliant.
"I'm happy I'm here, this is brilliant playing on that stage with this crowd. It's amazing."
"I've never seen a wasp flicked at a darts event before and I thought I'd seen just about everything...wonderful theatre"π―π

Daryl Gurney progressed to the second round of the PDC World Darts Championship with a 3-1 victory over Ronny Huybrechts in an entertaining encounter.
Gurney very nearly started the match in the most sensational way possible as he threw seven perfect darts before missing out on the treble 19 with a famous nine-darter within sight.
The fourth seed, who has enjoyed a breakthrough year on the PDC Tour, went on to take the opening set as both players averaged a whopping 110.
Gurney went 2-0 up with more impressive work on the oche before Huybrechts hit back to land the third set.
Northern Irishman Gurney reasserted his dominance by taking out 170 to bag the opening leg of the fourth set and that finish helped him go all the way to victory.
"I played really well in the first two sets but tried too hard to close it out for 3-0. The first two sets were really good and I need to produce that all the time," Gurney told Sky Sports after getting the better of Huybrechts.
