Coverage on ITV4 in the UK will be shown from 9pm BST on Thursday and Friday.
World number one Michael van Gerwen is 4/5 favourite to defend his Shanghai Masters title but he is in the same half of the draw as Phil Taylor and Peter Wright.
Victory in his first-round match verses Hai Long Chen will more than likely set him up with a quarter-final with the Power, who is 16/1 to get his hands on the trophy, while Wright (11/2) or James Wade (40/1) are his potential semi-final opponents.
Gary Anderson won the opening World Series of Darts event of the season in Dubai and he's 7/2 second favourite for glory while Raymond van Barneveld (18/1), Dave Chisnall (22/1) and Gerwyn Price (33/1) are the other realistic contenders.
