Gerwyn Price claimed the fifth PDC title of his career at Players Championship Five on a day where there were two nine-darters hit.
The Welshman has been in impressive form this season and followed up his run to the semi-finals last Sunday by being the last man standing at The Barnsley Metrodome.
Price, who is also unbeaten in the Premier League after three games following his superb comeback against James Wade in Dublin, averaged 109.7 against Gabriel Clemens in the final which typified his standard of play throughout the day.
Playing without the boos that are a big feature of his games on the stage environment since last year's Grand Slam of Darts final against Gary Anderson, the Iceman averaged over 100 five times in his seven games, including a mark of 106 in his 6-2 quarter-final victory over Ian White and 100.5 in his 7-4 semi-final triumph against Players Championship Two winner Dave Chisnall, which was sealed with a 136 checkout.
He'd earlier beaten Marko Kantele (6-4), Madars Razma (6-4) and Ryan Joyce (6-2) before averaging 105.5 in an all-Welsh clash with Jonny Clayton in the last 16, edging it 6-5.
It's the third Players Championship title of Price's career (first since 2016) and fifth overall having also bagged the Grand Slam of Darts crown and last year's International Darts Open.
The world number seven, who pockets £10,000, told www.pdc.tv: "This time 12 months ago I was playing rubbish, I was going out in the first round all the time but now my mind is clear. The last couple of weeks I've been playing really well but falling to players who have been playing amazing, so today I'm delighted to get the win.
"Winning breeds confidence and today I thought I played fantastic all day and was a deserved winner. I'm striving to make the top four in the Premier League and to also keep doing well on the ProTour. It's tough to do both but it seems to be working for me this year."
There were two nine-darters hit in Barnsley, with Danny Noppert managing one in his 7-5 semi-final defeat to Clemens while Scott Baker got the the other while also averaging 110 - but he still lost 6-3 to Dave Chisnall in the last 32!
Elsewhere, James Wade reached quarter-finals, while fellow Premier League stars Rob Cross and Mensur Suljovic got as far as the last 16 along with last weekend's Players Championship Four winner Glen Durrant.
But it was a poor day for Peter Wright, Daryl Gurney, Michael Smith and Raymond van Barneveld, who all exited at the last 64 stage.
