The full results from the European Championship, which took place in Hasselt, Belgium from October 26-29.
The hectic winter swing of PDC darts majors cranked up another notch with the European Championship, as Michael van Gerwen claimed the title for a fourth successive year at the Ethias Arena in Hasselt.
MVG was the number one seed after securing top spot in the European Tour Order of Merit by winning six of this season's 12 regular European Tour events, while Peter Wright finished not too far behind in second having claimed five of them.
The field for this ITV4-televised major was comprised by the top 32 on this Order of Merit list, which also included last year's runner-up Mensur Suljovic, World Grand Prix champion Daryl Gurney, Rob Cross and Simon Whitlock.
However, four notable absentees were Phil Taylor, Gary Anderson, Raymond van Barneveld and James Wade.
Here, you can look back on how the action unfolded with all the results and daily reviews while we also have details of the previous winners and the prize money information.
