Match report
Kings XI Punjab strolled to a 10-wicket victory after Sandeep Sharma's 4-20 helped rout Delhi Daredevils for just 67.
A week after Royal Challengers Bangalore registered the lowest score in IPL history - 49 against Kolkata Knight Riders - Delhi disintegrated in 17.1 overs.
Martin Guptill (50no off 27 balls) and Hashim Amla (16no) knocked off the measly target with embarrassing ease in 7.5 overs to earn Kings XI a facile 10-wicket victory.
Sandeep's figures, his career-best in the IPL, condemned Delhi to the lowest score in their history.
The rot began in the first over, Sam Billings opening the face to run Sandeep to third man but only feathering through - although Snicko replays failed to confirm an edge.
His opening partner Sanju Samson ballooned Sandeep to mid-off to make it 7-2 before Shreyas Iyer chipped a ball back to the seamer, who flung himself to his left to take a supreme one-handed catch.
That was the first of four wickets fell in the space of 11 runs and at 33-6, Delhi's chances of overhauling RCB's 49 looked doubtful at best.
However, Corey Anderson (18 off 25) shored up an end until he dragged on Aaron Varun's first ball into his stumps; skipper Karun Nair (11) leading Delhi in the absence of injured Zaheer Khan, and Kagiso Rabada (11) were the only two other batsmen to reach double figures.
Guptill dominated Kings XI's chase, scoring 34 runs of the first 50, before reaching his first IPL fifty with the single that put Delhi out of their misery.
