Match report
Virat Kohli recorded his 29th one-day international hundred and Rohit Sharma went to three figures for the second time in five days as India thrashed Sri Lanka by 168 runs at Colombo to go 4-0 up in the series.
Kohli now sits third on the all-time list of most ODI centuries and is only one behind Australia great Ricky Ponting after a majestic 131 from 96 balls in a second-wicket stand worth 219 with Rohit.
Rohit was just as influential as he followed up an unbeaten 124 on Sunday with 104 while Manish Pandey (50no) and Mahendra Singh Dhoni (49no) - playing his 300th ODI - steered India to 375 for five.
Sri Lanka lost their top three inside the first eight overs of their reply and only Angelo Mathews was able to show any resistance with an 80-ball 70.
But once he was seventh man out Sri Lanka duly crumbled and were all out for 207 in 42.4 overs, and they now face the prospect of a series whitewash when they return to the ground for the fifth and final ODI on Sunday. India also won all three Tests comfortably.
