Floyd Mayweather stopped Conor McGregor in the 10th round in Las Vegas - recap all the action here.
The end had been coming for at least a couple of rounds and after a slow start where he was content to take a look at McGregor, Mayweather was able to do pretty much as he pleased. The UFC man put up a brave fight and caught Mayweather with some decent shots, but as we had suspected stamina was his Achilles heel and he ran out of steam. This is meant to be Mayweather's last fight after moving to 50-0, but you just never know!
Round 10: Mayweather marchs to the centre of the ring and the end appears close to me. He lands with a hurtful left over the top and follows it up with another. McGregor is in trouble and referee Byrd has seen enough and stops the fight.
Round nine: Mayweather looks to be hurt by a body shot which looked low. The referee intervenes and he carries on straightaway. McGregor's legs look to have gone and Mayweather is moving in for the kill, catching him with lefts and rights. McGregor is looking to hold, Mayweather is smiling and wins another round.
Betting latest: Mayweather is now 1/12 with Sky Bet who have McGregor 7/1 and the draw 25/1. Latest in-play odds here!
Round eight: McGregor starts well and finds Mayweather's chin with a decent left. He is far busir then he has been for several rounds and the crowd respond. Has he found a second wind? Mayweather doubles up with the jab and they are heavy shots and McGregor is happy hold. Mayweather round.
Round seven: An untidy start to the round with plenty of holding. McGregor is still showing plenty of heart but there is now little or no snap in his punches. Mayweather lands a great right that draws blood from McGregor's mouth and you can't see this lasting too much longer as the boxer wins another round.
Round six: McGregor comes out firing - could this be his last salvo? Mayweather uses his experience to keep out of trouble and then gets back behind his jab from where he now knows he can dictate the fight. More rights are landing from Mayweather and that spells danger for McGregor. Mayweather's round.
Round five: Mayweather is dominating now. He's smiling and enjoying his work now as McGregor is slowing down. The 'Money' jab is now working and he is picking off the UFC man at ease. Mayweather round.
Betting latest: Mayweather is now 1/5 with Sky Bet who have McGregor 7/2 and the draw 20/1. Latest in-play odds here!
Round four: Fast start from Mayweather who suddenly takes the attack to his opponent with solid jabs baked up by right hands. McGregor takes tehm but it is now noticable he is breathing hard. A cracking right from Mayweather puts the seal on a dominant round for him.
Round three: McGregor lands a decent, sharp combination but is then warned for hitting the back of the head. He clips Mayweather with a jab and is also looking fo the body. Good speed from the UFC man but Mayweather is smiling and despite taking a few, he has not been troubled yet. Mayweather's round ... just.
Round two: It's not the flying start I expected from McGregor. Instead he is measured but looks much more open in stance than a conventional boxer. McGregor is pushing his right hand out, almost using it as a range finder and Mayweather is struggling to find his range. Even round.
Round one: McGregor immediately backs Mayweather up against the ropes and targets the body. However, it quickly becomes cagey and Mayweather is happy just to have a look and ease himself into the fight against a man who is much bigger physically. McGregor lands a left uppercut and may have taken the opening round.
0513: The introductions are being made by Jimmy Lennon Jr and now the waiting is over, it's FIGHT TIME! Referee Robert Byrd gives his final instructions and we're ready to go ...
0507: For the 50th time, Mayweather (49-0, 26KOs) makes a ringwalk and he's wearing a black balaclava. It's a mixed reception but he just puts his head down and quickly gets inside the ring.
0503: First to the ring is Conor McGregor and there is plenty of Irish support in the T-Mobile Arena as he makes his entrance with an Ireland flag draped around his shoulders, wearing white and gold shorts.
0500: The national anthems are being sung before the two fighters make their way to the ring ...
0455: Latest Sky Bet Odds and Mayweather is the 2/7 favourite to win the fight, with McGregor 3/1 and the draw 40/1. See all the fight odds here!
0455: Nathan Cleverly gives us his thoughts on MayMac ...
0445: So now the time has come for fight everyone has been waiting for ...
PRICE BOOST: Floyd Mayweather to win by TKO/KO in rounds 1-4 is now 6/1 from 4/1
Round eight: Good early left hook from Davis and Fonseca goes down after a punch that seemed to hit him round the back of the head. The referee starts the count and Fonseca stays down ... the fight is overna dthe crowd are booing. Strange ending to what was building into a good fight. Davis wins by TKO after 39 seconds.
Round seven: Davis gets tangled in the ropes and is caught by a chopping left hand which seems to wobble him. He may have been off balance but he was certainly caught. Fonseca backs him up against the ropes and lets his hands go and he is starting to fancy this now.
Round six: Davis is doing a lot of talking, but he settles in behind his jab and at last it looks as though he means business after five previous rounds of doing as he pleased. Little coming back from Fonseca who is more intent of keeping his chin out of danger.
Round five: Fonseca starts the round well, catching Davis as he comes in. But the American then produces an eye-catching flurry of punches that rock Fonseca's head back - when he gets down to work he looks so good.
Round four: Davis is showboating with his hands behind his back and he manages to avoid all of he punches that come his way to the cheers of the crowd. He gets back down to work and lands a couple of straight lefts that, to his credit, Fonseca walks through once again. He produces a good combination of his own and did enogh to win the round.
Round three: Good early work from Fonseca but it stirs Davis into action and he lands two thundering upper cuts which the Costa Rican takes well. It's a very decent contest but you feel that Davis will land something flush at some point, but so far his attempts have failed.
Round two: A slight delay as Davis has to have the tassles on his boots cut off! The two come together and Davis picks Fonseca up on his shoulder and walks him across the ring. Finally we get some boxing and Davis continues to load up with uppercuts without managing to land. Two left hooks do land but Fonseca just smiles.
Round one: Davis takes a pawing left hook early on but looks supremely confident, hands down, stalking his opponent from the southpaw stance. He looks so physically strong - it's hard to think he is still only 22. Fonseca is managing to have some success as Davis loads up and it's an even start.
0400: We are now just one fight away from the main event and that is Gervonta Davis (18-0) against Francisco Fonseca. American Davis has been stripped of the IBF super-featherweight world title after failing to make weight on Friday and now it has become vacant so only Costa Rican Fonseca (19-0-1) can win it.

The contest was officially stopped after 2.27 with Jack the new champion. He calls it a "dream come true" as he calls for a fight with Adonis Stevenson.
A stunning performance from Jack who was virtually punch-perfect from the first bell. His jab was relentless to body and head and a brave but outclassed Cleverly simply had no answer and barely landed a punch in return.
Round five: Jack again makes a flying start in what has been a one-sided contest so far. The challenger continues to whip in the hooks to the body and once more Cleverly is in trouble on the ropes. Jack can hardly miss at this point and looks at the referee, almost pleading for him to stop it. Another flurry of punches with Cleverly on the ropes, he almost goes down but the referee does step in this time and it's all over.
Round four: Jack continues to land and there is more spite in his punches as he grows in confidence. A head shot shot visibly hurts the champion who is forced back against the ropes. Jack is barely wasting a shot and lands a crunching left hook to the body and the bell saves the Welshman who returns to the corner with a blooded nose and his reign as champion in massive jeopardy.
BETTING: Cleverly 7/1; Jack 1/12; Draw 25/1
Round three: Jack is setting a great pace and is dominating with his jab, especially to the body. Cleverly continues to come forward but his punches just don't seem to carry the same power at the moment. Jack unleaches a three-punch combination and hs overall work is far better at present as he takes that round also.
Round two: Jack gets away with a low-looking blow as the action resumes at close quarters. Jack is scoring well with his jab to body and head and Cleverly is still looking to find his range. Jack ends the round on the attack and that's another one in the bag for him.
Round one: Jack lands early hooks with both hands as he makes a fast start. Clverly responds with a decent body shot and gradually sttles into his work. They exchange solid right hands in the final seconds but I will have to give that one to challenger Jack.
0310: Now entering the ring it's champion Nathan Cleverly (30-3) against Badou Jack with the WBA world light-heavyweight title on the line. Cleverly to win the fight has been boosted by Sky Bet to 7/2 from 3/1. Badou Jack is 1/4 and the draw 20/1.
Swedish-born Jack (21-1-2) is no stranger to British fight fans having beaten George Groves and drawn with James DeGale at super-middleweight but this is his first fight up at light-heavy.
0255: MayMac is drawing ever closer and this is what Sky Sports pundit Matthew Macklin had to say about the big fight ...
PRICE BOOST: Floyd Mayweather to win by TKO/KO in rounds 1-4 is now 6/1 from 4/1
0245: Mark in Leicester says: "Do you think this will be Mayweather's last fight?"
Hello Mark ... It's hard to predict what Mayweather may do. If he beats McGregor and moves to 50-0, will be be really satisfied he beat a UFC fighter to acheve it? He still looks in terrific shape and he's admitted that fight against Manny Pacquiao two years ago let the fans down, so maybe we might see a rematch there? Only he knows how his body feels after yet another gruelling training camp but nothing would surprise me!
0230: The latest news on the big Vegas showdown is that Floyd Mayweather is now Sky Bet's 1/4 favourite to win the fight, with Conor McGregor 100/30 and the draw 40/1. Click here for full fight odds!
0200: Sid in London asks: "Do you think we will see more UFC fighters involved in boxing matches in the future?
I supose it all depends what happens in MayMac Sid. I think, at the moment at least, McGregor is probably the only fighter in the UFC who could have pulled a fight like this off. He is a huge larger-than-life character, with a marketable personality and certainly that has helped lure Mayweather out of a seemingly contented retirement. Of course they are making millions out of it, but I see this as being a one-off - certainly I can't imagine anything else even coming close to the sheer scale of MayMac at present ... although McGregor v Malignaggi would be interesting!
Interestingly, Sky Bet are offering 49/1 that McGregor and Mayweather have a rematch in the Octagon within one year.
0145: Still plenty of time to have a flutter on the big fight ... read my betting preview here.

0130: Robbie in Gravesend asks: "Do you think McGregor might forget he's in a boxing match and launch a kick or look to grab and try to take Mayweather down?
It's certainly something that has been mentioned Robbie and I'm certain it will take a lot of mental strength to remain focused on this new discipline, especially if he finds himself in trouble against the ropes for example. Punches in UFC are often used to work openings for things like kicks, but hopefully McGregor has been training long enough now to ensure he won't lapse. Sky Bet are offering 7/4 for either fighter to be deducted a point and McGregor is 10/1 to lose a point for kicking. He is also 10/1 to be disqualified in rounds 1-6.
0120: Talking of Ricky Hatton, he gave us his views on the big MayMac clash and you can read it here.
0115: El Tel from Manchester asks: "Has McGregor really got a chance of winning this fight?"
Well El Tel, it's a question many have been asking and we will find out soon enough! But I think any fighter who has been trained how to punch in terms of being in the right position to deliver them and be able time them correctly must always be given some kind of a chance. McGegor does have power and will be be the bigger man physically. But my view is that if the likes of Manny Pacquiao, Oscar De La Hoya and our own Ricky Hatton were unable to land a meaningful punch on Mayweather, then a non-boxer making his debut is going to struggle.

0050: Latest betting from Sky Bet sees Floyd Mayweather as the 2/9 favourite to win the fight, with Conor McGregor 7/2 and the draw 40/1. Mayweather is 4/6 to win inside the distance and 11/4 on the cards. McGregor is 4/1 to get a stoppage and 25/1 to win on the scorcards. Click here for all the latest fight odds!
0025: Good news to start with and that is former two-time Great Britain Olympian Savannah Marshall made a winning professional debut on the Vegas undercard, comfortably outpointing Sydney LeBlanc over four rounds (40-36).
The 26-year-old from Hartlepool has been signed up by Mayweather Promotions after being on the verge of becoming a PE teacher, following her decision to quit Team GB and she now lives in Vegas.
The first UK woman to win a world amateur title, Marshall is the only woman to have beaten American star Clarissa Shields in the amateurs and it looks as the two are now on a collision course in the paid ranks.
0010: While Mayweather and McGregor have dominated proceedings, we must not forget that Welshman Nathan Cleverly is on the undercard as he defends his WBA world light-heavyweight title against Badou Jack. Here's what he told us earlier this week as he arrived in 'Sin City' ...
0001: Good morning and thanks for joining me as the countdown begins to one of the most eagerly-anticipated fights of the year as Floyd Mayweather takes on Conor McGregor in Las Vegas.
It may not be one for the purists but there is no question it's a match-up that has created almost unprecedented interest as the rival sports of boxing and UFC go head-to-head in the professional ring for the first time.
It should be a straightforward win for Mayweather, a five-weight world champion and one of the best boxers to ever lace up a pair of gloves, as he takes on UFC champion McGregor who makes his professional boxing debut.
But the Irishman has oozed confidence throughout the build-up so the question is can he pull off one of the greatest sporting upsets of all time?
We will find out soon with the big fight set to start at around 0430, but of course these events seldom run to schedule so I'll keep you up to date.
PRICE BOOST: Floyd Mayweather to win by TKO/KO in rounds 1-4 is now 6/1 from 4/1

PRICE BOOST: Floyd Mayweather to win by TKO/KO in rounds 1-4 is now 6/1 from 4/1
1000: My personal opinion is that McGregor will look to make a fast start, but will run out of steam in doing so, allowing Mayweather to take charge and force a stoppage just after the halfway mark in the contest. You can check out my betting preview by clicking here.
0930: We've been getting plenty of opinions from the boxing experts who have gathered in Vegas for one of the biggest fights of the year. Here fomer super-middleweight world champion Carl Froch gives us this thoughts ...
0900: Not long to go now before the huge Floyd Mayweather v Conor McGregor showdown in Las Vegas. I'm Simon Crawford and from MIDNIGHT tonight I'll be guiding you through the pick of the action from the T-Mobile Arena, which includes Welshman Nathan Cleverly defending his WBA world light-heavyweight title against Badou Jack and a professional debut for former Team GB star Savannah Marshall.
But of course it's all about 'MayMac' and after weeks of hype, trash-talking and controversy it's now time for the pair to get it on in the ring. It's looks hopelessly one-sided as a five-weight world champion takes on a UFC fighter making his professional boxing debut. As a result, Mayweather is the odds-on 1/4 pre-fight favourite with Sky Bet, while McGregor is 100/30 and the draw 40/1/.
Feel free to drop me a line at simon.crawford@sportinglife.com with any thoughts and opinions on the big fight and I'll answer as many as I can once the fight blog gets under way later on.
