Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor's entourages have been warned about their behaviour ahead of Saturday night's Las Vegas showdown.
McGregor paid a reduced fine of $25,000 to the Nevada State Athletic Commission earlier this year relating to a chaotic press conference with UFC rival Nate Diaz in which plastic bottles were thrown.
Mayweather, Sky Bet's odds-on favourite to win the fight, has also appeared before the NSAC - most recently, in 2014, he was forced to prove the safety of sparring sessions in his gym before fighting Marcos Maidana.
NSAC chief Bob Bennett told Sky Sports: "It wouldn't be in [Mayweather and McGregor's] best interest to put their hands on each other, and they both know that.
"Both of them are professionals that know the repercussions from inappropriate behaviour. I don't expect either one of them to get into any physical altercation. They are supreme athletes that know the rules and regulations."
Mayweather and McGregor are expected to come face-to-face in Las Vegas for the first time at Wednesday's at the pre-fight press conference.
