World champion Mark Selby survived a major scare to reach the last 16 of the European Masters in Lommel, Belgium.
The 34-year-old found himself 3-2 down to Chinese teenager Lyu Haotian, but hauled himself level before taking a scrappy deciding frame to squeeze through 4-3.
Judd Trump, defending the title he won last year, was also taken to the wire, coming from 3-1 down to edge past Martin O'Donnell.
Mark King beat four-time world champion John Higgins 4-1 and 1997 Crucible winner Ken Doherty's tournament was ended 4-2 by China's Cao Yupeng.
Neil Robertson secured his second whitewash of the week, hitting a break of 129 to finish off fellow former world champion Peter Ebdon.
And in a second battle of ex-Crucible winners Stuart Bingham brushed aside Graeme Dott 4-0.
Mark Allen, Mark Williams, Anthony McGill and home favourite Luca Brecel also made it through.
