There was a big shock on day two of the International Championship in China as Ronnie O'Sullivan was dumped out 6-1.
O'Sullivan failed to pot a ball in the last four frames as teenager Yan Bingtao cruised to an easy success against the five-time world champion in their first-round encounter.
Yan dashed into an early 2-0 lead before O'Sullivan hit back with a break of 111 but the latter managed just five points from that stage onwards - all coming from a Yan foul.
"I played Ronnie once before and lost but it was a decent match so that gave me the feeling that I would have a chance if I played well today. I performed better than I thought I would," explained Yan, who will now take on Ricky Walden.
O'Sullivan was gracious in defeat and said: "Yan played fantastically well. Maybe only Stephen Hendry and John Higgins have played that well against me before."
World Champion Mark Selby won a hard fought battle against Cao Yupeng by a 6-4 scoreline while John Higgins was another big name to reach the second round after he thrashed Niu Zhuang 6-1.
