All eyes will be trained on British Flat racing's star racehorse Enable when the ten-times Group One winner returns as a six-year-old in Sunday's Coral-Eclipse, a race she won last year from Magical and the re-opposing Regal Reality.

At her best, the John Gosden-trained mare would surely be hard to oppose but there have been suggestions from the Gosden camp that she has been harder to get fit this time and that the run will bring her on.

With recent Coronation Cup winner Ghaiyyath likely to set a lung-busting gallop, Enable's fitness will surely be tested and the race could well set up nicely for JAPAN.

Aidan O'Brien's Juddmonte International winner was just over two lengths behind Enable when fourth to Waldgeist in the Arc last October and looks sure to come on for a somewhat ring-rusty reappearance in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot, where he was slowly away and never quite landed a blow.

Before that race, Japan definitely looked as if he could be made sharper and it is worth noting that, after finishing fourth in the Dante first time out last season, he ran much better on his second start when third (finishing strongly) in the Derby.

As he proved at York, where stable-companion Circus Maximus made the running, Ryan Moore's mount is well suited by a strongly run mile and a quarter and he should get it here.

At Haydock, SUBJECTIVIST can take all the beating despite top weight in the bet365 Handicap on his first attempt at a mile-and-six-furlongs.

Mark Johnston's colt made a cracking reappearance at Royal Ascot where, running on into third behind Hukum and the well-fancied Kipps in the King George V Handicap (1m4f), he gave the impression that he is strong stayer.

Despite meeting a bit of interference, Subjectivist ran right to the line that day and this half brother to last season's St Leger runner-up Sir Ron Priestley can rate more highly in the future.
