The ex-Marcus Tregoning-trained Shadwell cast off has warmed to his task for his new stable and he beat the rest comfortably when Poetic Jack got a start on him here two starts ago and ran even better when narrowly denied at Southwell last time. William Carson can keep closer tabs on Poetic Jack here and pounce at the business end.
