Oli Bell best bets for day one of the Ebor Festival at York

Justanotherbottle got back on track with a good effort in the Stewards' Cup last time and this extended five furlongs at York looks right up his street.

Joseph O'Brien wouldn't be known for having them cherry-ripe first time out so Vitalogy must be above average. He could be in a different league to his rivals in the Acomb Stakes.

There's a fair amount of hype surrounding Logician but I think he's got loads about him and could turn out to be another special talent for the Gosden and Juddmonte team.

Crystal Ocean is so consistent and deserves another top-level success. His rating speaks volumes and if he runs his race then the younger horses are playing for places only.

Eddystone Rock looks to have found his niche in these long-distance handicaps and really won with plenty to spare at Ascot's Shergar Cup meeting. There'll be less emphasis on stamina here which could play to his strengths.
