Go Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival Charity Tipping Challenge

Team Tim Easterby won the Sky Bet Go Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival Tipping Competition, raising thousands for charity.

Easterby, ITV's Oli Bell and Ed Chamberlin, plus teams from Karl Burke, Richard Fahey, Charlie Johnston, David O'Meara, John Quin and Kevin Ryan plus Alex Hammond, the sporting life tipsters and Michael Shinners of Sky Bet took part in this year's competition.

They were all given a £100 charity bet for each day of the Festival. All proceeds are going to the New Beginnings racehorse re-homing charity with £7000 raised in total thanks to Sky Bet who provided the charity bets.

Sky Bet's Michael Shinners said: "It's been great fun once again and well done to Team Tim Easterby who raised over £2000 for New Beginnings alone. £7000 is a great total for the week and thanks to everyone who got involved."
