Check out our schedule and guide to the Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival at York, which runs from August 22 to August 25.
The ever-popular Ebor Festival is fast approaching once more and it promises to be a fantastic occasion in the White Rose County.
York comes to a standstill at the end of August for four glorious days of action on the Knavesmire, featuring three Group One races and Saturday's main event - the newly-named Sky Bet Ebor, which has received a significant boost in prize-money.
The meeting gets off to a flying start with the top-class Juddmonte International Stakes one of the principal middle-distances races in Europe.
Won by former superstars such as Giant's Causeway, Authorized and Sea The Stars, the race also featured in Frankel's stunning 14-race unbeaten career record, the son of Galileo storming home in 2012 with a seven-length victory over Farhh.
This year's edition provides an intriguing battle of the ages, with Dante Stakes and Coral-Eclipse winner Roaring Lion taking on the older Poet's Word, who has landed the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot and the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes on his two most recent starts.
Locally-trained mare Laurens is among the leading contenders for Thursday's Darley Yorkshire Oaks where she'll meet Irish Oaks winner Sea Of Class and the Ballydoyle select, while 24 hours later brilliant Goodwood winner Battaash remains on course to set the record straight following his surprise defeat in last year's Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes.
The £500,000 Sky Bet Ebor - to be worth £1million from 2019 - is one of the premier staying handicaps in the world and will attract a maximum 20-runner field on Saturday.
Here we've got the full schedule to the races, plus a one-stop-shop for all our Ebor Festival videos and tipping content.
