It took a while for connections to find Altiepix's right conditions and he got a deserved win two starts ago. He backed that up with a decent run last time but may be vulnerable of a mark of 128.
McCabe Creek has the most natural ability of the bunch but hasn't found winning easy, he's quite versatile in terms of riding style. I liked the way he jumped from the front last time out and if let loose on the lead, he could be hard to peg back.
Helium may be the horse tracking McCabe Creek, he has it all to do off this mark.
The horse who will enjoy a strong run race and looks a tad overpriced is DRAGON'S DEN. For me his optimum trip has been around the two and half mile mark and he takes a drop down in trip today.
He has now dropped to a winnable mark and even though he hasn't got his head in front for a while I think he has conditions to outrun his odds. The first time tongue tie could be another beneficial factor.
Degooch is another one who will appreciate a fast run race but looks the right price at 4/1.
