Golden Investment has proved anything but this year and has been beaten favourite on three of his six starts. I feel he is capable, especially off this mark, but that he's a tad soft - to say the least.
Red Giant is interesting and there has been some money for him overnight, but it's hard to back him with confidence at such short odds even though there is every chance he will leave his recent form well behind.
A horse that is really solid and won off this mark two starts back over hurdles is JOHNNY GO.
He hasn't run a bad race this year and enjoys Perth, so for me he's the most likely to run his race - combine that with being reasonably handicapped he seems a solid proposition at 7/2.
SMILING JESSICA is also of interest. A point winner over three miles who is related to a winning staying chaser, he could improve now running in handicaps over fences and is worth having on-side.

The once useful GUITAR PETE looks very fairly handicapped over chases now off 125.
He has run with credit on the Flat and over hurdles of late and is showing signs of his old self since moving to Nicky Richards.
Theo has a hike in the handicap to deal with today, whilst Master Dee and Hammersly Lake have to contend with career high marks, and this looks a very nice opening for Guitar Pete.
1pt win Johnny Go in 2.35 Perth at 7/2
0.5pt win Smiling Jessica in 2.35 Perth at 9/1
