Owner and pro punter Murt Khan is backing an outsider in his selected race at Market Rasen on Sunday.

Recommended bet: Breaking It Down

2pts win I'dliketheoption in 4.00 Market Rasen at 4/1 - takes a step up in trip and a slower pace should help him go close with a clean round

There doesn't seem much pace apart from Gowanauthat in this small field handicap chase.

He's a tough horse to pass on his day and he should go well for a very long way.

The Harry Fry trained Voix D'Eau is taking a class drop and will have a lot of supporters based on this. It's interesting the stable have decided to stick cheek pieces on for the first time which suggests they may be at a slight loss to the horse's dip in form.

Baby King is hoping to have back to back wins to his name but the race fell into his lap last time and he has to step up once again.

Yorkist looks to have the best recent form and for me is the one to beat.

I will be backing the outsider of the lot in I'DLIKETHEOPTION.  Three starts ago he ran a real solid race at Ascot despite some shoddy jumping and in the context of this race reads well.

Ludlow can be a hard place to come off the pace over 2m on the chase course and he could never get to eventual winner Ifandbutwhynot who made all. Ifandbutwhynot was going to play a hand in the finish last time out but fell two out at Kelso, this adds a bit of depth to the form.

I suggested in the write up of I'dliketheoption's last start that the configuration of Warwick wouldn't suit the horse's jumping and that materialised with him blundering the first and never getting into any sort of rhythm.

He takes a step up in trip today in a race which is unlikely to be run at a break neck pace. This should help his jumping and if putting in a reasonably clean round he should go close for me off a sliding mark of 125.
