There was a massive plunge on AUDACIOUS PLAN over fences last time out, perhaps not surprising as he was having his first start for Dr Richard Newland having left the yard of Rebecca Curtis.
Everything went to plan bar the demanding final furlong at Uttoxeter, as he was worn down by the tenacious Lunar Flow. The pair finished a distance clear of the third and unluckily for connections it was a case of bumping into one on the day.
Audacious Plan reverts to hurdling here off a 6lb lower mark and with Charlie Hammond on board claiming 7lb. In the past the eight-year-old has shown decent form over the smaller obstacles so that shouldn't be detrimental to his chances and he therefore looks to have a massive chance.
He may even appreciate the slightly easier test that Huntingdon presents and from a handicap perspective will take all the beating.
