Get Ready Freddy was electric on his first start for Dan Skelton over fences in August.
He was then turned out quickly over hurdles off a lower mark but arguably found himself in front too soon, so can be considered better than that run.
The main issue today is he's running off a 20lb higher mark than for his Worcester win and while a repeat of that would still see him go close, at the prices he can be left alone.
BONOBO had over a year off the track before his latest start at Stratford, in which he finished third to two subsequent winners and the form looks to have a bit of substance.
He's a horse who was rated 120 a couple years back but, while in off 104 here, he has never completely lost his way. It's more been a case of gradually sliding down the weights to a mark from which he should be seriously competitive.
Last time out he suggested as much, travelling well enough to catch the eye, before failing to quite see the race out as well as the front two.
As mentioned, that's still good form for this grade and I like there is some pace on paper, which will suit a horse with previous winning form at Newton Abbot.
He's an appealing each-way alternative to the jolly now dropped in trip and should go well.
