Two starts ago I advised you to back Steel Bob to get the better of TEMPESTATEFLORESCO, thinking things may happen a bit quickly for the Colin Tizzard trained nine-year-old.
He proved me wrong and won very decisively having travelled within himself throughout.
He followed this by winning the big summer chase at Uttoxeter off a mark of 137 by six lengths.
This trip of the 2m 1f is short of his best distance but having seen him run at the likes of Fontwell, I think he will get away with it today against inferior opposition.
8/11 seems on the big side for me and think he should be nearer a 4/7 shot.
FREE STONE HILL has been a bit unfortunate not to have won his last two starts and even though up in the handicap today he's likely to run his race and that could be well be good enough in a contest where a few have questions to answer.
