It's been a case of being too brave for his own good in regards to MINELLA SUITE on both of his last two starts. He's a horse who possesses a huge amount of scope but has taken off a fraction too early and paid the price both times.
It was always going to be a case of him improving with age considering his frame and size. At the back end of last season he didn't see his races out a couple of times, finishing a bit weakly. With another summer on his back he should have strengthened up and be more than capable of winning off his current mark.
I'm hoping Minella Suite finds a rhythm in his jumping from the off, if so I think he will be hard to beat and 6/4 looks decent value.
