Aaron Rodgers produced a statistically perfect display as the Green Bay Packers battered the Oakland Raiders 42-24, while the San Francisco 49ers moved to 6-0 and the Baltimore Ravens caused an upset in Seattle.

Rodgers threw for 429 yards and five touchdowns, while also running one in himself as he achieved the perfect passer rating of 158.3. Rodgers also became the quickest QB to throw 350 touchdown passes as the Packers made a real statement.

The San Francisco 49ers continued their surprisingly unbeaten start to the season as they emerged with a scrappy 9-0 win at a rain-soaked Washington Redskins - with three Robbie Gould field goals doing the damage.

The Los Angeles Rams got back to winning ways in the NFL with a bad-tempered 37-10 success against the Atlanta Falcons.

Last season's NFC champions and beaten Super Bowl side had lost three in a row as they returned to the scene of that big game defeat at Mercedes Benz Stadium, but bounced back in style.

The Indianapolis Colts moved top of the AFC South with a 30-23 win over the Houston Texans as Jacoby Brissett threw for 326 yards and four touchdowns, two of them to wide receiver Zach Pascal.

The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the winless Cincinnati Bengals 27-17, Yannick Ngakoue taking an ugly Andy Dalton pass back for a 23-yard interception score to seal the game.
