There is no open racing on Tuesday so we concentrate the graded action at Sheffield, where Idas Spider (T2) could take some catching in the A4 at 11.52.

Michael O'Donnell's speedster twice made all in this grade before he was only narrowly touched off late on when bidding for a hat-trick a week ago. With a good draw between slow starters, he should get loose again and recent times suggest they may struggle to reel him in.

Alannahs Cashout (T1) is given a good chance by the grader when dropped into an A6 at 12.59.

The Elaine Parker-trained puppy has shown signs of ability in A5 company, including when beaten just over two lengths after trouble last Tuesday, and should take closer order in this lesser company. With scope for plenty of improvement, the March 2023 puppy can make a bold late challenge at this lower level.

Millview Conan (T4) escapes a rise in class for his victory a week ago and she is fancied to complete an A5 double at 2.07.

With five wins from 14 starts now, she boasts a fine strike-rate and the sectionals suggest she can get first run this time.
