Following a big winner in America, our F1 Insider is back with two more selections for the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Recommended bets

2.5pts Max Verstappen to win the Brazilian Grand Prix at 3/1

2.5pts Charles Leclerc to set the fastest lap at 3/1

Verstappen the Brazilian banker

Max Verstappen was in a league of his own at Interlagos last season, leading comfortably until a backmarker trying to unlap himself knocked him out of contention. The Red Bull driver assumed Force India's Esteban Ocon would complete the move on the long run to Turn 4 but instead tried to force his way past on the exit of Turn 2 and speared into the race leader.

The time-loss and car damage condemned the Dutchman to second place behind Lewis Hamilton. Verstappen qualified only fifth at this track last year but was convincingly the fastest man in race trim, and the same could apply this year.

3/1 looks a fair price for Max to exorcise his demons.

Leclerc the fastest lap fancy

Charles Leclerc will be taking a 10-place grid drop in Brazil as a result of an engine change, so his hopes of a podium finish have diminished. But the gap between the top three teams and their midfield counterparts is such that a top six finish is a formality as long as Leclerc stays out of trouble.

If all went to plan he'd be adrift of the Mercedes, Red Bulls and the other Ferrari but so far clear of seventh place that a late pit-stop for fresh tyres wouldn't lose him a place as the laps ticked down.

Leclerc has taken fastest lap honours four times this season, including at the last two events; 3/1 for the hat-trick can't be argued with.
